  1. Anyone else getting slightly worried?
  2. Same team, same result no doubt.
  3. I reckon RVN has his eye on breaking big Mick's record, to go with all of the unwanted records that he's collected so far.
  4. Wicket does look really green. Any news on how bad Patel's injury is?
  5. Wonder how we'll line up? Without Hull, the pace attack looks very 'samey' but assuming we don't go for 2 spinners at this time of year, I'm thinking it will be something like this: Patel Holland Hill Handscomb Kimber Ahmed Cox Green Mike Scriven Wright
  6. I'll be honest, I'm not sure what RVN is.
  7. Just thought of another positive: We've taken another step towards ensuring relegation before we have to play F*rest away, meaning they won't get the pleasure of officially sending us down.
  8. Positives from today: Man City winning helps them close the gap on F*rest. We have 1 fewer game left to endure this season.
  9. First time for about 9 years that I've chosen not to watch one of our games. Didn't even follow it closely and just looked at the final score after seeing we'd gone 2 down. Looks like we'll go through over half a season gaining 3 points. No goal in nearly half a day of PL football!!
  10. Some of you are actually watching this?!
  11. Good to see we are sticking with the same winning formula!
  12. Anything but F*rest doing it.
  13. And yet there are still 1500 lunatics who've bought tickets for this ritual slaughter!
  14. This season has been unremittingly awful. Can't wait for it to end.
  15. As per the thread I started recently, this team is on track not only to be statistically our worst PL team ever, but to be our worst ever top flight team per se. We could break 5 of the 6 records below, given the way things are going: Fewest points per game (converted to 3 points) - 0.64 in 1977/78 (0.59 so far this season) Fewest wins - 5 in 77/78 and 01/02 (4 so far this season) Most defeats - 25 in 77/78 in a 42 game season (20 so far this season, which at the current rate would result in losing 29 games in a 42 game season) Fewest goals scored - 26 in 77/78 in a 42 game season (25 so far this season) Most goals conceded - 112 in 57/58 in a 42 game season (65 so far this season, projected to concede 85 over 38 games, which would equate to 94 over a 42 game season, the 4th worst goals conceded per game in our entire history) Worst goal difference: - 48 in 1908/09 (-40 this season) Edited 9 March by Sunbury Fox
  16. 4-0 defeat. Next.
  17. Think they beat us 3-0 with an xG of something like 0.5. Efficient!
  18. Now that any sliver of hope of staying up has disappeared, and the pressure is off, maybe we'll pick up some wins? Doubt it, though!
  19. True. It's just because we're playing the ultimate glory hunter team, that I was a bit surprised.
  20. Put my tickets on resale last weekend and they've still not shifted. For a game v Man U, that is very surprising.
  21. You're forgetting our legendary Welsh goalkeeper!
  22. The sea of empty blue seats at Cardiff is perhaps a harbinger for what the KP will look like after we've been stuck going nowhere in the Championship for a season or 2.
  23. Man U are basically a bigger, more expensive version of us; a truly terrible team. The fact we've lost 3 times to them this season says everything about just how bad we are.
  24. The decision making and creativity in the final 3rd is off the scale bad. Got into loads of good positions today but then failed every single time to pick out the right pass. But you can't say you were unlucky to lose when you've had 3 shots all game and an xG of 0.1.
