Didn't watch the game but love this new kit!

Really don't like the 3 year deal. Should have been 2 max. You just know that by the 3rd year we'll be desperate to get rid of him but we'll stuck with him as no other club will meet his wage demands. We've seen that scenario play out so many times in recent years. If he wouldn't accept 2 years then move on. Just feels like we always cave in when negotiating for a player.

Haven't watched the last few games and only watching this as it's so disgustingly hot outside. Shocked at how poor we look.

Bizarre that Spain are playing Simon in goal ahead of Raya. Simon looks very unsteady to me.

Why do we keep signing players on the way down rather than players on the up with something to prove? No doubt we'll make him the highest paid striker in L1 just to top it off. Chaplin another one on a downward spiral - was dire last season for Pompey. I just can't see us challenging for promotion with these kind of signings, even allowing for the standard of the league.

I don't think things are at all right in the camp with players leaving, etc. Sad to see after such a great season last year.

Agreed. Good to see Souttar playing well but this has been a terrible spectacle. Would have been best to go straight to a shoot out without playing the match.

Complete non event. Watching the Dutch knock it around endlessly going nowhere in front of a massed defence is probably indicative of what it will be like watching us under Martin in L1 next season.

Yeah. Good rearguard effort but we always seem to lose wickets at key points eg Green getting out 2 overs from the end. Will be pretty much a miracle if we don't lose the game from here.

Could be useful in the couple of CC games in August when you'd expect pitches to be hard but in the final 4 games in September, it's hard to see a left arm spinner being more effective than a good pace bowler.
