She's the better shot stopper but I wouldn't say that's one of kop's weaknesses. With having less of the ball we can't afford to give it away cheaply and leitzig does that a fair bit with her distribution. I can see that being in kirks thinking.

She must be pretty good considering our midfield is already stacked. I would have thought adding to our defence would be a priority considering we only have two 1st team centre backs and midfielders as back up.

She is apparently widely regarding as one of the best young keepers around. That was even mentioned here on FT so clearly this must be the case... She just seemed really assured with the ball at her feet and most of her distribution was spot on. Leitzeg is a shot stopping machine and we need one, considering we look like leaking goals, but some of her distribution isn't great and results in the ball coming straight back at us half the time. I can see Kop putting some real pressure on the number one spot which is great.

Our back up goalkeeper seems to be a lot better with her feet than Leitzig.
