Leicester Vs Liverpool - Match Thread KO 10:00 UK Time

And your relevance now compared to how we went on in the premier league then is ? you missed out on all the times we easily beat Liverpool in other Prem games. The point today is the sheer gulf between us now as when we were then. we could afford to lose to Liverpool and still go on to win the premier league. What you saw today is that there is no longer an if or maybe, we can no longer pose a threat to them. -

If our new manager was going to be the next one to take us forward there is no way he would even contemplate playing Vestigard. you just know it's down here from now, -

Glad to hear the same alarm bells ringing. You have to ask within a week before the kick of our new manager even contemplated let alone played Vestegard. I ask just why? in what way or shape is that sack of shit ever going to play in our season? if he is then I question why the hell I renewed my season ticket. this has got Soussa written all over it. -

Yes, we have and not just the champions winning years. 3 occasions is not a true reflection over the last ten tears. -

If you really examined our defense today you would realise a month is not going to cure it. Look at the ease with which they scored, Salah had time to look up and pass it where he wanted. The whole defense was an absolute shambles. Both positionally and awareness of where the opposition was. We have a week to kick off and we look even worse than we were last season.Face it we are no longer one of the men we are the boys. -

I think in playing Vestgard the manager is focusing on the wrong stuff. Good grief what on earth was the point of that? And loads still to do? it's next week we kick off it's hardly a work in progress, is it? Face it, we are now away now a long from being a premiership outfit and today show us all why. Miles off it and I can't see us bouncing back. It was always going to be a gamble I don't like the odds. -
too many rules all open to interpretations from the ref. It will as always favour the big clubs guaranteed.
-
More tinkering, more different interpretations from different refs. Another nail in the coffin of the game we once loved. It gets more Yankeefied each season.

I think the point was his greatest accomplishment was indeed with us. The rest of his success followed with being in the top side in the Prem and indeed in Europe. Nothing could compare with being plucked from a second-division French side and playing the best football of your life in the winning the prem team that was tipped as relegation fodder before a ball was kicked. I don't care what he did after that at Man City, he never reached those heights again as a player who had that much influence on a team to win the prem. I'm sure when he looks back on his career he will see it just the same.

The market is in TV revenue the same as it is here. Gate money is neither here nor there when it comes to a club's finances which is why getting relegated is such a financial blow to us. If we had to rely on our paltry 32 thousand gates then we would never be able to buy and pay the fees or wages of most of our team at present.
-
Oh for goodness sake, it's where we get our money from. Nothing Bizarre about that. Of course, the players are not " animals " but they are commodities and as such are bought and sold numerous times in their careers, I'm sure they don't feel oppressed on god knows how much a week. Football has become pure showbiz, and taking them to the country of the owners to further the club's interest with its massive market is pure business common sense.

Club were “Targetting Top 8” During Relegation Fight
PAPA LAZAROU replied to FoxesWalk's topic in Leicester City Forum
Obviously had a problem looking anywhere but down after that point or even looking at where and at what point the players stopped playing for him and the club. He was the same at Liverpool ok until it needed fixing then he hadn't a clue. The difference was Liverpool knew when to get shot of the fraud whereas our owners stupidly kept faith with him.
