our defence is horrific, no manager could sort those clowns out. without at least 7 new players in the team, any manager would struggle to do any better

The players are not very good, not sure any manager does any better with this squad. We looked weak and outclassed as individuals against Forest, that's as much an issue as the manager.

Exactly this, our squad is very poor. apart from Mads and Abdul, I wouldn't want to buy any of our players if they played for any other prem team. If Cooper keeps this squad up then he will have done a remarkable job. Its going to be a tough ask that's for sure

Ricardo and winks are not good enough as a centre pairing in the prem. Slow and weak

Bit weird not playing abdul, bit like Pearson and Albrighton, but to have the points we have with all the turmoil in the summer is a pretty good effort. Think he is doing a good job

Nigel Pearson who is rightly considered a hero at this club had a vastly superior squad that became our greatest ever team the next season in our first season back last time and had us bottom for a lot of it. I think Cooper will keep us up easily with a a squad nowhere near that one
