I guess he's probably not been picked to get forward but I'm not convinced Thomas is a wing back. Ricardo injured again?

Where are Plumptre and Howard?

Trouble is not many decent managers will come for such a short deal and possible relegation on their CV without a longer contract. Either a stay up to stay deal or a big payday. Probably looking at a Big Sam/MON type appointment, not sure that would work.
-
We are not down yet. In fact the stats say we still have almost a 50% chance of staying up. We have however just wasted the 2 most important matches of the season with no proper structure in place. Not getting rid of Rodgers in the international break and having no plan of who to replace him with is just criminal. Ironically now with an almost certain loss at Man City to come we now have a few days to think about it......
-
Hes played 82, 86 and 55 minutes in the previous 3 league matches. Really strange to let him go now.

Sunday afternoon always a good time to announce this sort of thing when there is a big match on. Well we can hope anyway.

Roma (H) UECL semi-final 1st leg, Thur 28 April *Updated Ticket Details*

The price is expected. But you have to laugh at the standing warning - we must have one of the smallest percentage of fans standing in the country. -

Why are people briniging politcs into this? Are we taking tips from the Liverpool fanbase? -

Said before that something went wrong with the tickets for this match, as it often does for big ones. Who knows if those causing trouble actually had tickets or not but I doubt they would have been able to get them for a biggish league match. And every club has an element of idiots. I think we maybe have more of a divide between our majority fans who are quite reserved and those looking for hassle who only show for big matches. -
Was never a sending off to be fair
-
The issue of how the points are calculated is an obviously related but somewhat seperate issue to Forest and whether the tickets that should have gone on sale for this match were actually avaiable. As someone who was able to fairly easily get a fa cup final ticket despite the mergre allocation I was nowhere near getting a ticket for this, something has gone wrong somewhere.

3rd December was the last match, playing Chelsea 12.30 tomorrow Don't really want us to risk Castagne if hes not trained, or Maddison, Youri. Give Barnes 60 mins. -

Yes unless Soumare (illness) is a precursor to a batch of covid cases and a request to postpone the Everton match we should play a mostly u23 team for this now apart from anyone who needs game time. -

Team really depends on our priorities. Not sure we can risk playing our strongest team with the upcoming schedule, as much as I'd like us to do well in the cup again. -
According to the FPL geeks we are almost certain to have a match midweek 22, 19th January - probably Tottenham. But there is still a chance of a midweek match before Burnley.
-
If, as is almost certain, we get a match rearranged for one of the midweeks during AFCON we must only be a couple of covid cases or injuries away from thinking about trying to get another postponment ourselves?
-
Unfortunately I think some of our fans are often more interested in only singing about the opposition (scousers, chilwell, ole, whoever) rather than getiing behind our own players. And yes the chants about scousers are embarassing, particularly coming from SK1 where I believe union FS members have held food bank drives before matches. Of course the Liverpool fans were equally more interested in politics than the football, which is also rather strange.

5 subs allowed, we made 4, Perez is surely better at Pens than Thomas or Betrand.
-
Hated it when Southgate did it but...we could have put Perez and Lookman on to take pens, especially with Vardy unable to take one.
-
If players aren't willing to get vaccinated and are going to be in isolatation for 10 days after every covid contact then we might not see them for a large part of the rest of the season, think they have to be reasonable and get the vaccine or face fines as clubs in Germnay have done.
-
Think we could have Castagne or Bertrand as centre back in a three but please not both of them (especially with Ndidi). Would give Nelson ago at centre back rather than Bertrand. Youri shouldn't really be playing 3 times in a week so soon after injury - maybe on the bench.
-
Didn't mind the team but..... Bertrand should have been switched for Thomas at half time. Daka needed to come on but taking Barnes off was madness.
-
When we played at Old Trafford a few seasons ago Martin Atkinson was quite happy to stop play for an non serious injury to an outfield player, so why will he not stop play for the keeper?
-
Covid rules mean the players are generally told not to pose for selfies, give autographs, mingle etc. So if it seems a lot different at the king power this week then it might not be the fault of the ground or the players but the current situation.
