I totally agree, We need to sign a few 6 ft plus midfielders and defenders to compete with most teams in this league. If they can play all the better. At the very least we should lose less set pieces in our box.

The Ref was decent for 80 minutes then he lost the plot. He should have booked a few Cov players but didn't. The reason we lost was Thomas didn't do his job and defend the Goal against the attacker. Instead he bottled it and looked for a free kick. He should have been rightly savaged in the dressing room after the game. That's the only way he'll learn quickly.

I assume he's not being used for fear he'd pick up an injury. Just get it done so as we can sign someone to replace him.

Your right, Too much is expected of him and as good as he is he's no Mahrez. But he's the only likeli creator we have at present. Mav is coming more into form again which should help the team. I'd like to see them switch wings during games too, if only to confuse the defenders. I laugh though when I hear many saying we are a Prem team. We're far from it. Look at Semenyo at Man City, and other prem players They are on a different level. I doubt Fat's will ever get that good. But Attitude and great Coaching is so important for young players.

Looking at his video it looks a very laid back league. It's a massive step up for this lad and I just don't know if he can handle it. Has he got the physical presence to compete with some roughhouse defenders. Or is he quick enough to get past them. On the plus side he does know how to finish, which is something we need badly in the team. So probably worth a punt for what's small money. Though a loan to end of season would suit best even if he cost a little more then.

You can already see some improvement in him. He's learning that you don't have to beat everyone to get buy a defender. Somtimes a simple one two works better and creates more space. I'm not a fan of Marti, I think he's too weak, But I have seen improvement in both Mav and Fats becoming more team players and Marti deserves some credit for it. Fats is still very young and when the Penny drops as it will eventually, he'll get so much better for it.

A good Coach could turn him into a top player.

He wont get that type of room in the Championship. A loan until the Summer is our best option, provided we agree a price first.
