I would rather see Ricardo play 20 minutes with a fresh Fatawu from the start than 20 minutes from the end after he’s subbed him off. Having Fatawu with zero support around him is poor management, formation and a waste of talent.

Maybe unfair yes. In preseason he was driving forward and helping the attacks. When Ricardo comes on it adds so much energy to the team and he has been helping Silko Thomas attack.

I think Hamza has been pretty uninspiring, but less error prone. To get the best out of Fatawu we need Ricardo, not sure we will though. Hamza is playing out of position though so fair enough. He could do with helping Fatawu and trying to drive forward. Him and Okoli are pretty shaky passing around and out from the back. Hamza needs more movement in midfield rather than them passing back instantly. Okoli seems to stutter and takes too long with the ball. He needs to get more confidence so pass first time because he puts himself and Hanza under pressure they don’t need to create.

While he might have been better in your view, he is still dogshit who stinks out every attack. Ayew is and will always be the weak link. A striker who drops deep, doesn’t pass, turns his back to goal and looks to fall over at every opportunity.

Still a stinking midfield. Fatawu needs Ricardo to play and Hamza just blasts the ball from deep and expects him to do something with scraps. Okoli and Hamza need to wise up with their passing as well. Ramsey, Fatawu and Mav contain all the attacking talent so it’s on them, avoid Ayew in any build up and they will be fine. Hopefully it’s a good team performance rather than individual moment of skill.

I hope so. It’s such a waste of resources having Winks out in the cold whatever side of the fence we sit on with the reason. Thankfully we have players in to freshen up and improve because we can’t have another season with another manager hoping Daka and Ayew will come good. We need to make a statement and batter a team not just 10 minutes of good attacking possession for Ayew to ruin it by falling over or the full backs to stand still watching the wingers get teamed up on. They need to stop going back into their shell and passing backwards and showing no attacking intent. We can’t spend the season with Monga and Fatawu saving us with individual skill.
