  1. I understand. It’s just when managers come in they all seem to think they are the solution when they won’t fix Soumare or Ayew. The give them preseason, 10 games, till Christmas just gets restarted. Having no leaders that speak the truth doesn’t help. Maybe that’s why Winks fell out of favour, doubt it though. Winks, Ricardo and Page, Monga, Mav and Fatawu. Get JV to stop slowing everything down and get the useless full backs to defend properly if we have people with energy in midfield. Easy. 😂
  2. I’m not expecting much now from this season other than a change of manager for another useless one and more poor choices from above compounding with the current ones. If the manager has gotten over his “clean slate period” and has the balls to do something to fix the midfield, replacing Ayew and can get JJ and Thomas to actually carry the ball, pass and continue moving forwards, then we will get somewhere. I don’t think he is brave enough and has no experience with “prem” players but I will be happy to be proven wrong. Any team that are disciplined, can do the basics correctly and press will get something out of us.
  3. Knowing our luck it’s the useless donkeys in our squad that are making them look amazing. 😂
  4. Shame Ricardo isn’t fit anymore because he is the answer to several positions. Hopefully we can get some a midfielder in who can do the basics like press, track runners and tackle. It seemed so easy for PNE.
  5. I was hoping the same. Im assuming he got so sick of the previous 2 useless managers breaking up a partnership that worked well the previous season and also having to play with Soumare, Ndidi and Skipp or watching them make the same mistakes every week while he has to sit out. We have all had to work with useless colleagues. He seems to have gone into self sabotage mode and feeling sorry instead of using the negativity to his advantage. I also guess it doesn’t help seeing a third manager comes in, play the same shitty midfield with the same tactics and gets the same results.
  6. No one can question his attitude and work rate. He’s having so much to do with no support. Let’s hope he also has the balls to say it to the players around him. They need a technical analysis teams going over their mistakes in front of each other and asking them to explain the reasoning behind it.
  7. He would’ve been effective if JJ had actually offered support and created an overlap or Ayew bothered to pass. My worry is the manager didn’t pick up on this the first 5 times he got stopped and adapt. It was obvious to all watching a simple 1-2 and Fatawu would’ve been clear in behind evertime. Let’s see if the manager does the same again or has actually worked on tactics. I’m not holding my breath.
  8. Did you miss in the game yesterday where he tried to trap the ball, missed it and fell over? Or when he had a clear shot with his left in front of goal, took it into his right wasted time and reduced the angle to miss, or the times he constantly receives the balls, turns back and forth ignoring everyone around until he falls over and loses it. He has zero game if the ref isn’t soft.
  9. All valid points but it is just the same old same old from another manager. Let the players get on with it. And the same old cope from the fans.
  10. The players need to look inwards before they moan at the fans. Abdul has a lot of good grace with the fan base and does seem to care. He is young, posted that most likely when angry and emotions running and high maybe not mature enough to process the response fully. He needs to redirect it at his team mates. JJ and whoever can like his post but he is part of the rot on the pitch.
  11. Yes, or Mavadidi, or give him instructions and if he doesn’t stick to it drag him off. Unless the manager actually gets some tactics across to the players, he is nothing but a part time babysitter. He couldn’t have been happy with Ayews set pieces, or him constantly killing any attack by holding onto the ball, dropping deep and looking to fall over, never bringing anyone into the games. I find it hard to believe that him and his team don’t already know the limitations of JJ, Soumare, Skipp, Ayew and Daka. If the manager can see the problems, can’t fix it on the training ground and continues to let it happen on the pitch then he is a useless manager. I will give him a few more games but so far I’m not seeing anything from him and don’t believe he has anything about him. I couldn’t be more than to be proven wrong by results, I don’t care about others thinking I’m saying this too early, give him time etc. The warning signs for Cooper were obvious in preseason, after the first two Ruud games the same.
  12. I want to believe this but if he starts Soumare and Ayew next game then he is another useless manager. Do we even have a technical analysis team?
  13. Hopefully he has enough data and he can move on from the clean slate he has spoke about. Let’s see if he actually does anything about it and changes Ayew and Soumare to start with. Try and get JJ and Thomas to actually help the wingers rather than offering nothing in attack or defence. If he sticks with them thinking his style of football and managerial tactics is all what’s needed for our donkeys to listen. We will just end up with a 4th shit manager by Jan and another clean slate with the useless players that have failed with the 3 before him. Cooper stinking us out beyond the sacking.
  14. Everton away last season where he ducked an easy header. He should’ve never played again but Ruud stuck with him. Week after week the goals were from him. I highlighted it from the BR time when we played Man Utd, he stood around watching Ericsson and jogged over giving them time to take the shot and score. Watch the highlights for the second goal, when he starts to actually run after the player stutters his run a few times and positions behind him. If he continues running to meet where he’s heading he could have just bundled him over the line.
  15. He should’ve taken a shot on his left but cut it back again and took the ball wider. in the second half he missed the ball when he tried to trap it then fell over. So many times he gets the ball and turns back and forth waiting for contact instead of passing, this and dropping backwards is his go to move.
  16. If the next game is the same players playing the same way then that’s it for me, he doesn’t know what he’s doing. No style or ideas apart from slowly pass the ball to the wingers and everyone else stand back. Is he happy with what Ayew is doing? Daka, JJ, Soumare? Is he shouting instructions waving at them. He’s just babysitting rich kids at this point,
  17. But he can make changes, at least mix it up, move players around. Playing the same shit players and getting the same results every game from them. Managers with no experience at high level make these poor choices because they are in awe of players. The only style of play is get the ball to the wingers slowly and don’t offer any support. If that’s not what he wants then what is he coaching them and will it change. It looks exactly like nothing has changed.
  18. They both get like this when no one offers help. They do too much and when it’s bad it’s noticeable because they are the only ones trying. No one played them into space. Ayew stinking out set pieces, counter attacks and any build up. Daka comes on to match his play and ability.
  19. Another shit manager with no style or identity. Plays the “prem experience” players even though they are shit and make the same mistakes every game. We are playing the same as the last two donkeys and BR and making the exact same mistakes.
  20. He tried to trap the ball and ended up missing it and rolling over. Insane.
  21. Along with his charity work at the KP donkey sanctuary.
  22. Ayew and Daka wondering why Monga didn’t turn his back to goal and fall over.
  23. When he goes into that back and forth weave looking for a player to catch up so he can look to fall over, you know nothing is coming from the play.
  24. JJ isn’t even having a bad game, just his usual standard for years.
