  1. Also add on top of that poor player selection and same useless tactics of passing to a standing still winger on the half way line or hold up play but unwilling to pass once held up and useless set pieces from Ayew. Lazy & useless players and a manager clearly limited in ideas and motivational ability.
  2. I agree. he is even worse tactically than Cooper and I couldn’t stand watching his football. He wasted the first several games with his clean sheet nonsense. A high lights package and data would tell you all you need to know about our squad. Shit players and morons mixed with some quality. The quality players have to carry everyone else and cover for their mistakes. No player has improved, no player has new skills and abilities. Our team struggle with the basics due to the useless defence, Soumare and Daka. Ayew and Thomas drain any energy out of the game. Poor substitutions, team selection and lack of tactics is now a trend. The board can get the blame for the overall mess but he isn’t doing his part on the pitch. Every game we get undone by a simple 1-2 on the wing and they are in, yet our wing play is pass the ball behind a player on the half way line so he has to stop, stand still and try and skin 2 players while everyone else watches, waiting for their chance to pass backwards.
  3. Another team that skins us in the wing with a simple and quick 1-2. Marti still hasn’t learnt this technique and applied it his team. Hull showing what happens when you don’t pass the ball short to a winger who stands still and wants to use tricks to get by two men with no support
  4. Absolutely spot on about competitive passion. The young guys and Ricardo have the fire and ability but are hampered by crap players and a crap manager/poor tactician. Abdul is expected to do everything, all the time. He looks like he’s making more mistakes, but he’s making a teams worth of errors as it’s not shared out. Marti lets them play the same way every game yet he doesn’t seem to change or add anything to it or fix the mistakes. Unsure if he watches the games back or looks for weaknesses in the opposition. We are always one Thomas back pass or Ayew “hold up play” from stinking out and ending up with Jakob kicking the ball out under pressure. Every week we get skinned by simple 1-2s. Zero managerial curiosity from Marti to check out that play and introduce it. I couldn’t care less about his waffle in interviews.
  5. There is nothing fresh about that line up.
  6. I’m talking about tactics and style of play. He wasted pre season and the first several games with his clean sheet nonsense. Any level of analysis could have told him the players were crap. He wasted several weeks playing them, finding out they were crap using his crap tactics. Pass the ball to a 16 year old and no one go near offering support. he hasn’t improved any player in this team. who would’ve thought a milquetoast QPR manager has turned us into this.
  7. He got praise for his subs early on but they were just fixing his selection mistake. Now the subs are just that in reverse. Crap manager, zero tactics and ideas. Same players making the same mistakes with crapper tactics than RVN. At the moment he is making Cooper look like Klopp.
  8. Seagrave might be the unluckiest camp in Europe. Has there been a Camp in Europe that has caused as many injuries and suffering to people?
  9. I guess some PR/agent came up with the idea to keep the players “brand” out there for the come back story.
  10. I see no evidence that Ayew won’t play any different where ever he plays. If he had to get the kit he would turn his back to the locker and fall over.
  11. I was agreeing that we should start Daka as he causes the least problems out of the two. I never want to see Ayew play for us again.
  12. While he didn’t add much, he caused less problems than Ayew. Who causes problems in other areas as well as up front. The other option would be Mavadidi.
  13. Or at least someone try and draw defenders away to give him space. Martin needs to start applying some tactics now, or change what he is telling them to do. Passing to the wingers standing still on the halfway line isn’t working. If he doesn’t shoot then the ball just gets sent backwards. A few on target to force a save would be nice. Hopefully we will see JJ driving more with the ball and players running into space rather than looking to get the ball with their back to goal.
  14. Same team that started but Ricardo for Hamza. Now it’s all on the tactics from the manager and the players engaging their brains. Less of the same please. I heard that Hamza has been on the Nintendo brain trainer all week. VK and JV have been watching all of Vikings to tap into the strength of their ancestors. Mavadidi, Fatawu and Monga have been icing their hips ready to see who can do the most step overs.
  15. Another threat timed to stink out the transfer window. I’m sensing a theme. While the cause is the club, the timings do seem suspicious.
  16. Also that the defensive player coming on doesn’t seem to be able to defend. JJ would play deep and drive forward, Skipp just floated around the middle not actually doing much of anything. It’s the same negative dross BR rolled out. Weak mindset from the manager devoid of attacking tactics.
  17. Both our Dane’s are so weak and an embarrassment to their ancestors. JV should’ve barged him into next week but he bounced off him like the ball off of Dakas shin. Thomas is such a boring player. He kept getting skinned by the 1-2 but would never try it on them. The time he did bomb forward, he passed to Monga and then stopped instead of continuing in the space. Brain dead players, Monga and Fatawu deserve better. When Monga tried to get Thomas involved and help he just squared it and killed the attack.
  18. I’ve seen enough to come to the conclusion that Marti has zero tactical ideas when it comes to attack. He has created greedy wingers now and it’s harming Fatawu’s game. They are expected to do something with their bag of tricks while everyone stands back and watch them do steps overs, cut back and forth doing so much but producing very little. They both need to learn how to whip a cross in quickly after gaining that space, Albrighton style. Monga looks like he’s been picking up tips from Mavadidi rather than the freedom and confidence he has from his youth and natural talent. Fatawu gets the ball and no one runs into the space that Ndidi or Ricardo would run into, the basic 1-2. Twice he did it and Hanza stood back just to pass backwards instead of whip a cross or slot Fatawu in.
  19. Putting Skipp and Ayew on even though it’s obvious how they will play, and it did. It’s just poor management because at this point they are known knowns. He could’ve put Ricardo on and moved Hamza up. He could’ve put Silko on and pushed Fatawu in the middle. He should’ve kept JJ on. 20 mins for a smart young talented player who might be tired over a proven brain dead plodder. Do we even have a technical team, showing them clips of what they do right and wrong? or do they all just practise sideways passing and step overs.
  20. Even worse when we have another manager who either can’t see the failings and mistakes or can but doesn’t do anything about and plays him.
  21. Such a progressive player. He showed his class when he lost the ball by a simple mistake and then chased back and won it. Add Ricardo to the mix and we have enough players who can pass quickly and get the attacks starting. Reid understood what he had to do to help them out, his touch was sometimes too heavy but it made a difference to the overall feel of the game.
  22. Completely stunk out the game when he came on. As soon as he got the ball in the middle he would run to where Mavadidi was, ignore the pass and turn towards our goal. His hold up play is now on corners, which he then over hits. Another Marti from Marti. The first game where there has been so much energy and movement from the start. Let’s see if he continues to play the donkey.
  23. Such a boring player, milquetoast is too complimentary. He’s not even that great at the basics. I can’t stand watching him call for the ball, knowing he will pass it back instantly. He always sets his body to pass back not drive forwards. Monga had to try and do everything from the halfway line. No overlap when he had time and space in front. Because of how Marti set up the full backs and his lack of attacking nouse. We now have wingers who have become greedy because they expected to do everything. It’s a constant step over challenge. Thomas needs to spend the whole week learning how to kick the ball down the wing with both feet. Maybe he can even learn how to sink it over a defenders head into space. The amount of times we got opened up against Coventry and Wrexham from simple, footballing basics 1-2, you would think Marti would try and explore that option.
  24. Thats why I don’t bother listening to managers anymore after the nonsense that came out of Coopers mouth. I don’t want to hear their waffle, lies and ego talking, especially when it doesn’t match what we are seeing on the pitch. Hopefully he has finally given up on Skipp, Ayew and Soumare. As soon as the first two came on the same problems returned. Nothing in the middle and attacks stalling because of a greedy donkey. I don’t think he will learn, but let’s see now that Ramsey will be back.
  25. And Ayew as well proving he can’t help stop killing time, hogging the ball and looking for the foul. I haven’t seen Skipp do anything close to resembling the basics. Mavadidi is useless. The wingers are too greedy due to no support and being expected to do everything, then they end ignoring the quick cross not shot. When they are involved in nice link up play they both look great.
