  1. Ah fair enough. But has he won the top three tiers whilst being top scorer in the title winning seasons
  2. If you do return to League One, and I can't lie I think you are now in a four team scrap to stay out of 22nd and 23rd so I'd say 50/50 on that, and that's not a dig because we've been there ourselves, and this very season I put £250 on us going down (happily looks almost certain I'll lose that bet now)... I wonder if Vardy could be tempted to come and tear up League One?? Have any players won the top three tiers of English football with the same club? Highly doubt it, would be another remarkable record to shoot for? Hope you don't go down anyway, your ownership is incompetent clearly but not as sinister as the Venky's ownership at Blackburn, and Oxford are too tinpot for this league, so I'll choose those two out of the four as my preference!
  3. Sorry but as a Norwich fan, it would be utterly ridiculous if Leicester didn't table a contract offer to try and keep him for next season. Doesn't matter if he plays 50 minutes one week then 20 the next, then 10, then 60, he's a natural goalscorer. Guarantee the other two promoted teams will be sticking an offer in front of him, and probably Everton as well. I know he's probably on mega money and you'd want substantial cuts to that, but can halve the basic but then load up with bonus payments for 5 goals, 10 goals, 25 appearances, 30 appearances, a survival bonus, and a giant survival bonus if it is survival + say 8 goals. He could stay and have an utterly terrible season next year and wouldn't be able to make a scratch on his legacy at either Leicester or in wider football, there isn't really much risk or downside to trying to keep him. He gets to try and show that he can still bag a few goals in the top tier after a disappointing season last year, and you get Jamie ****ing Vardy as one of your striking options.
  4. Obviously I'd be ****ing gutted to lose him, but if Norwich fail to win promotion you should make a move for Josh Sargent. He's just getting better and better, there's your young Vardy replacement.
