Looking at the squad, I personally think the only position we'll need to fill come January is a number 10. Ramsey has obviously been bought in to fill that void, with Page as back up, but as we free spaces in our 25man squad, I'd love to see us pick up a free agent right now for that spot.

Winks and Jordan James should be our starting pair at 6 and 8. Back up options of Skipp and Soumare. Simple as that. Not arsed what has gone before. Ruud was a nob. Winks was a mardy arse. Draw a line under it and we move on to, what on paper, is a promising pairing that could/should be able to dominate this league.

When all fit and available, 4-3-3 Stolarczyk Ricardo(c) Okoli. Souttar. Kristiansen. Choudhury. Winks. James. Fatawu Carranza Mavididi weaknesses here are obviously creativity from midfield, and 'quarterback' passes from centre of defence. My tactic would be get the ball wide asap and have James arrive late in the box. Heavily reliant on Carranza's work rate, and Ricardo stepping in with Choudhury to sweep up in defensive midfield Left back continues to be a concern. Not much between Thomas and Kristiansen, but both should be absolutely fine at this level tbh
