I would really hope that Top, Rudkin & the board can recognize that the club needs a drastic reset. No more allowing players to see out their contracts & walk for free. No more stupid money on borderline players. The training ground needs to be the building block for the future with a strong emphasis on the academy. And last but most important we need to bring in a real DOF . . We need to use this upcoming season to stabilize the club & build an identity.

To be honest I will accept any kind football Cooper wants to play if it will keep us up. Success for me is a 17th place finish with no more FFP issues. We are in a hell of a mess & desperately need a reset. If Cooper can utilize our academy & keep us up I will be a happy man.

You have to respect him for that. I can't wait for the haters to be proven wrong.

We are a poorly run club with upcoming points deduction(s). Our upper management screw ups have been well publicized & most people in the world of football would know that the club is a mess. I don't think there was a massive lineup of candidates. For me... We were lucky to get Cooper.

One of Coopers strong points is that he knows how to build a team & isn't afraid to use academy players.

Jose is a gorgeous looking human being . Steve Cooper.. not so much.

He is a proven team builder in that he develops a team spirit in all the teams he has coached. He is flexible in the style of football he plays & will adapt the formation to the players that he has. He is not scared to use academy players His preference is to play a possession based game. I personally believe that he is more offensive minded than Potter. Let's be honest . At the end of the day it's about the quality of players that a Manager has at his disposal. Thomas Tuchel could have managed Sheffield Utd last season & they were still going down. Let's at least give Cooper a chance before dumping shite on him !!

I Know that I will get boot fcuked for saying this but here goes. I am much happier to get Cooper over Potter. I believe Cooper has the qualities to improve our team. The big issue is how big will the points deduction be ?? If it's around six points, Cooper will keep us up.

Agreed !! To play Pepball you need to have quality players. Our players were better than most in the Champ but wont be in the premier. We would have been toast playing that way in the Premier.

Apparently a clause in his pay-out say that he has to be actively looking for work.
