Exactly right. He did what was best for him to get selected for the Euros & did Leicester no harm at all. People on here get their knickers in a twist & start believing their own bullshit.
-
I think the problem was that he didn't want to be the left defender in Maresca's back three. He is a wing back type of full back who wants to bomb forward as opposed to staying back in the Enzo three.
-
I don't know for sure but it seems that VK had a problem with Maresca more than Leicester.
-
Yes. Our Danish lads need to do some networking with him & let him know this is the place to be.
-
Apparently he very much wants to play for Denmark & feels that he needs more exposure than Celtic can offer. So either a top European league or the Premier league will do the job for him. The problem is that no club has come close to Celtic's 25 million evaluation. Maybe Kasper can have a chat with the lad & tell him that Leicester is his best bet.
-
O'Reilly does look to be a very good fit for what we need... An attacking mid who scores & assists. I'm assuming that the 25million that Celtic want is a little too much money for us right now. When are we going to sell somebody ??
-
Agreed that Cooper is not calling the shots but that he does have input on the final decision. I don't see that signing a 32 ...soon to be 33 year old striker is good business for any Premier league club & it worries me as to the direction of the club. Are we planning on relegation so soon !!!
-
The problem I have with all of our transfers is we really don't know who is calling the shots..I would be amazed if Cooper has told Rudkin that Ayew is the player that can help keep us up. This club is so dysfunctional & makes such horrible decisions at times that I feel we should be drug testing our upper management. Buying 30+year old players is not the way to build a team. We will end up paying Ayew good money for the next 3 years to sit on the bench while our young players stagnate. We need a proper DOF & an actual plan to so we can progress as a club.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

I don'f feel that 50 plus points is out of reach assuming that we bring in a couple of attacking midfielders. -

It has the makings of a new challenge ... Name the date it's announced & the amount of points deducted. -

It was a terrible decision & as usual it is the fans that suffer. -

Don't listen to her ... Susan was never good with numbers.. !!! -
So much negativity on the forum these days. I'm expecting a few more incoming transfers and think that the club have done well so far with the limited budget. Enzo would have had his ass handed to him trying to play Pep ball in the Premier with the players we have so I'm happy that he's gone & the club is 10 mil better off. Cooper can keep us up as long as the points deduction isn't ridiculous.
-
We obviously need attacking midfielders & a striker but other than that I think we will be fine. Cooper is still juggling players & I feel it's too soon to to predict relegation.
-
Well put it away. .... Your'e embarrassing yourself.
-
Well aren't you just a breath of fresh air. !!!
-
I think Faes leaves this window & Nelson will get to play.
-
I said all along that we could not play Enzo ball in the Premier with the players we have. It would have taken a massive influx of quality players to avoid getting spankings every week. I do believe that we will have more players incoming before the window closes & I feel Cooper will be able to get the most from the squad. It won’t always be pretty but I can live with that
-
I happen to disagree with your evaluation. We are not going to challenge for top six but I think we have some quality players & Cooper will keep us respectable.
-
He's a very good keeper but not very good if you want play out from the back. He wont fit into Enzo's plans & his resale value is limited due to most managers want ball playing keepers these days.
-
Sanchez is a disaster with the ball at his feet... Good keeper but terrible if you want to play out from the back
-
I don't think we can afford to sell him for 40 mil. We will need a very good keeper to keep us up this season and they are hard to find.

Concerns about the direction of the club
gurru991 replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
Charging ten quid to watch a mean nothing friendly is a disgraceful money grab. The club should be embarrassed . -
If we sell Mads for 40 but get relegated because we have a Ward level keeper then it's poor move financially . Ramsdale or Henderson would be at least 30 & not as good in my opinion so for me I would tell Man C to pound sand.
