  1. Shot themselves in the foot again
  2. Excellent team goal
  3. It's still a weak squad. It's better than it was, but others have improved too. The top four are as far ahead as ever, if not further. I don't think you need to worry about relegation and you're exactly as expected points wise. I'd have predicted a draw at Liverpool and a defeat at United rather than the other way round, but overall the exact same points. I said 8th was the best Leicester could hope for before the season began and I haven't seen anything to change that opinion.
  4. I thought it would be a draw today, but being 2 up for so long they really should have seen it out. BHA could easily nick this.
  5. If ever a goal was out of keeping with the rest of game! It's been dreadful stuff, but what a hit!
  6. Gutted for her. She's a whole-hearted player who has already lost a lot of her career. She deserves better luck than this.
  7. Whichever of Man United and Arsenal that doesn't have Earps will be interested I'd expect, or both if Earps goes overseas. Also Man City could do with an upgrade. Keating's decent, but she's only 19 with the inconsistency you'd expect of a young keeper. Chelsea are the only team with both quality and depth.
  8. Or as Brendan would say, he's got a bit of a niggle.
  9. 24 shots is the official threshold for creativity. I thought everyone knew that.
  10. It basically says Spurs created more and better chances and but for Leitzig would have won. I'd agree with that.
  11. Taken the lead against a North London team. Nothing can possibly go wrong!
  12. This is hilarious!
  13. Normal service has been resumed.
  14. I'm watching it on Now - it's on Sky Sports Football.
  15. I was going to post something similar but my virtual namesake beat me to it! I dislike the Premier League for many reasons beyond VAR, but it's certainly one of the main issues. I used to watch any football going, but in recent years the only PL games I've watched are those involving Leicester. I haven't watched any PL this season and if we do go back up I'll have a genuine dilemma.
  16. A woman won’t be appointed manager of the England men’s team without a track record of success (however that might be measured) in men’s club football. She’d be on a hiding to nothing and would never be put in that position. Hayes is definitely going to USA women.
  17. Every other WSL club was safe the minute Bristol City were promoted. There won't be a relegation battle this year, the only interest will be the top end of the table. The sooner the league expands and has a second relegation spot the better, there will be a lot of meaningless games later in the season.
  18. If you take it as a prophecy of the second half rather than a review of the first it does actually make sense.
  19. Both sides look pretty ropey defensively.
  20. Totally insipid first half but Willie has options off the bench now so was able to improve matters. Rose and Rantala look like they can provide the creativity that Leicester have lacked since being promoted.
  21. Good to Jenny Sugarman heading up the academy. She is an excellent coach who really knows how to develop individual players and establish a positive and welcoming environment. The only drawback is she’s a Liverpool fan, but at least she married into a Leicester supporting family!
  22. He'll most likely cost us a goal or two this season, but it will be a drop in the ocean compared to the positives of having him in the side. Brilliant signing.
  23. Manchester United! She's barely WSL standard, nowhere near good enough for a UWCL club. I was surprised her departure was announced so late as it implied there was a possibility of her staying when it was definitely time for the club to move on if they had any ambitions to progress. On a more general note, the contrast in standard between the players that departed and those brought in is stark. I'd still say 8th is probably the ceiling though.
