I work in a diverse workplace with a lot of Eastern Europeans and Africans and we all watched the game at work the other night. Every single one wanted England to win. The only people i encounter that hate the English football team are the Scottish and Irish which i have no issue whatsoever as to them we are their big rivals. Its when you have the Celtic scumbags in Scotland and Ireland who take it past sporting rivalry and just hate anything English is where it goes too far

I meant signing players not contract extensions. Vast majority of players we’ve signed over 30 in recent years have been shit and unsellable

Majority of them were signed before they were 30. Its a bit different offering current players contracts extensions where their ability is proven, as appose to complete new signings

Also means that when they are dogshit (and ours 99 percent of the time are), that we arent lumbered with them on the wage bill

No one over 30 should be getting anymore more then a 1 year deal. One of the reasons why the club is in a mess

Probably the ones under 30 who dont know the history or have ever seen us play them. Still remember the friendly win in 2005 where Owens goal was celebrated like we’d won the world cup. Argentina will always be the number one game ahead of Germany imo

Of course we will be. We’ll be offering more then anyone else or he wouldnt be coming here. If hes had Championship interest then its likely from small clubs like Lincoln, Charlton etc who wont pay as much. On a 1 year deal ive got nothing against this providing hes backup to a striker we will be buying. I always liked Danny Ings and comes across as a Pearson type signing.
