I don't think I've ever felt so subdued about an England game before. You just know its going to be a borefest, slow, laborious build up, no width, no link up play and probably less possession ! Now two holding midfielders ( gallagher) and a striker who doesn't know whether to make runs and press or not with this non descript system. Hope I'm wrong

Yes Forest fans do love but it's about perspective. He took Forest up for the first time in years and then they had some historic wins, so he's going to be a legend, similar to Pearson. We've won the Prem and FA cup in the last 8 years so we kind of think that that the Premiership is our home, where as it was all new to them. Hence if we start off badly the fans will be on his back quickly despite our upcoming limitations.

I don't agree. This is all about playing in triangles, movement, pressing, fluidity. We have the players, give them to Pep and we'd be world beaters. This manager doesn't have the tactical ability to bring the best out of the players , they looked like lost headless chickens.
