  1. I don’t think he is any miracle worker and agree it was a terrible decision to go to Chelsea however we are a mess - going to start on -9 points and have very little financial ability to improve a squad that was just about good enough in the end to get out of the championship- it isn’t a very appealing job no matter how much we all love our club - he was very solid at Brighton - didn’t score loads but didn’t concede either and only lost 1/3 of the games he took charge of in a very competitive premier league - he definitely laid the foundations for how solid Brighton have been last few years - he did a good job - is he elite and the best of the best definitely not but he is pretty good and definitely the best in the frame - he has bags of premier league experience which cannot be compared to doing ok with West Brom or doing ok in a random foreign league - he fits the bill playing style ish as well which someone like moyes who has better track record probably doesn’t - at this point I’ll be disappointed if we don’t get him - I think they would buy into his way of playing and also he would have a very keen eye on some talented players from random countries - if they can convince him to take it I think he is our best bet
  2. Maybe not the messiah but we would snap your arm off for a 31% win rate in the prem in the next years to come
  3. I suspect majority will be very happy with Potter - including me if it happens- plenty still being wary and not getting their hopes up as don’t want to be disappointed which is understandable I guess - if this gets over the line there will be a huge swell of positivity towards the appointment and people will get excited by it - it would be a real coup and buzz for the new season - he is by far the best we could get in our current situation - I for one think he would do a great job and we would stand every chance of having a real go at staying up
  4. Another fab tweet and telegraph article in last 20 mins - every chance this is happening
  5. Was always going to happen after the fab tweet - however that tweet doesn’t even sound like romano- weird wording at the end makes no sense at all
  6. They can only be pulling plonkers
  7. Nobody is taking cooper over potter - not 1 person
  8. Obvious surprise it’s 3 years but we knew it was coming - Enzo loved him and let’s be fair he had a very good season last year - he has great feet for a big man and suprised the hell out of me last year - yes he is slow and will get murdered 1-1 in this league but 2 quick lads around him and I actually think he will be better than maybe we think - proper nice ball playing centre half - the 3 years will be on very reduced money and makes some sense if more than likely we go back down - he is a very good championship defender - also remember we have no money at all so letting him go and signing someone else even just as good as him would have cost us £5 mill or more so it’s not terrible business - the £ will be over the 3 years instead of having to sign someone else and pay up front - use him properly and he will do ok - play him in a back 4 and will get torn to bits - it’s not terrible business
  9. Not sure you could make that detail up if you tried so obviously know something or have some crazy ass imagination - god help us
  10. Now that is disappointing
  11. Hello !!!! Get in !!
  12. If that has an ounce of truth in it we are absolutely 100% dead and buried before we start
  13. I’ll personally drive him wherever he wants to go - garbage
  14. Absolutely no chance they give him a contract without maresca pushing for it - none - he knows it as well - of course it was lined up - as was maresca staying and building - now he is gone so will vesty- did great last year but nowhere near good enough for the prem
  15. Yea I get it that’s fair enough - all opinions - the only one mentioned so far id take in front of him is potter - moyes is a solid second for me - both of them have serious prem experience and would do a great job in my opinion - I really struggle with quite a few of the other suggestions
  16. Mid table with the state we are in would be a miracle - moyes did absolute wonders at West Ham - 6th , 7th , 14th and 9th I believe last 4 years - such an underestimated achievement
  17. No way anyone is pleasantly surprised with cooper- cannot be him in that chat
  18. Well it’s all done - **** him - thanks for the memories and on we go - we are Leicester- bigger than any individual- up the foxes - long live the king
  19. I’m personally hoping they play him right back in his actual position and he gets up and down the flank like a right back
  20. If true has to be potter doesn’t it
  21. Cheers mate - good overview
  22. Does anyone actually know anything about corberan apart from West Brom playing decent in 1 half of football at our place ? Seems such a random one to me - done well ish with West Brom I suppose but why would he be favourite for our job - does he have a brilliant cv of proven top flight management ? Am I missing something
  23. Sounds like a perfect choice to keep us up 🤦‍♂️
  24. He was great - but he has major limitations and everyone knows that
