One of the many reasons this all needs sorted quickly for our sake - I don’t see any other managers style giving vesty a new contract - it was very unique the way he fit to marescas plan - just can’t see him in any kind of back 4 at prem level without us playing that exact way - even with us playing that way he would need 2 electric quick players either side of him to stand any chance this year - with a new manager we have so much to do and sort - need someone in place in next 2 weeks for me

I agree with you I think with far more gifted players and an unlimited transfer kitty he should do very well there - don’t get me wrong his style is elite and obviously the Man City copy which has proven it - with better players he should do very very well

Only opinion obviously but for me the players we have aren’t technically good enough to play that way at this level - we got caught so many times playing around our own area last year and in prem they score 90% of those mistakes - individually not good enough either - vesty, faes far to slow and rash for prem level - we did just about enough last year - which was great but the gap to prem is huge

West Ham were not long ball merchants in any way - played as much as most - and marescas style was nothing like bodgers or puel who played 433 with actual full backs - yes they tried to keep the ball but that’s as similar as it gets- marescas style was completely unique and everything revolved around it - we aren’t going to play like that no matter who we get- also don’t agree we have assembled any squad to play that way at the next level - moyes would play as much as we could whilst making us harder to beat - marescas style at this level with our players would have been a complete disaster

Agree potter won’t take it but moyes 100% should do - straight back in - he didn’t want to leave West Ham - I think he would relish the challenge- we are a decent job and prem jobs at good clubs don’t come around every day

If moyes wants it it’s a complete no brainer- cannot understand the hate for him - was superb at West Ham - had them top half for how many years - competing in Europe - made some decent signings like kudos - proven solid premier league manager with bags of knowledge and experience and let’s be honest our situation is pretty unique and not great - he would stand the best chance of keeping us up compared to a complete novice with zero prem experience like corberan or even maresca dare I say - I’d have moyes all day long

Of course he would - he doesn’t want to be out of the game after doing so well for West Ham - prem jobs don’t come up so often - he would take it and I would be happy with it

No money , minus points - no chance we get anyone elite - we need a safe pair of hands that will give us a chance - we should be going all out for potter and if he doesn’t want it then moyes is a complete no brainer - done a fantastic job at West Ham - top 10 for how many years in a row and a trophy - ridiculous some are turning their nose up at him - needs to be done asap though as we need a complete re train on how to play and personnel changes wil be pretty big -for example no way vesty gets a new contract under Moyes

Got to be potter and moyes hasn’t it - both available- both you would think would take it - both very good managers in their own ways - if Enzo goes and we get 10m and one of these 2 I actually think it wouldn’t be the end of the world - who knows what enzos tactics with our squad and little investment would end up like this year - we could sack him by Xmas as it’s obvious our current team will get bashed up at this level unless he is heavily backed to have elite players playing with his tactics which surely doesn’t happen with our finances

another one of many frustrations- maybe one of the biggest this year- I thought he would absolutely tear this league up and he 100% should have done but for whatever reason he has been completely useless and looks less interested than ever- should have been a 30 goal season for him and he should suit this enzo style perfectly but nope- nothing - worse than nothing- lazy and disinterested- his argument would probably be that he hasnt started 10 games in a row and you need to do that to get him match fit and get the best out of him- and he probably has a point but the games he has played he has looked horrendous and so never going to get a run- id say he is probably very close to starting on saturday though quite simply because the other 2 cannot hit a barn door- personally I wouldn't have him anywhere near it nor daka- id start cannon in every game and bring vardy on 70th min in all the last 4- cannon would score a few if that happened im sure of it
