  1. Just had a quick look on Google Maps using public transport it would take 2hours 20mins from Ibstock to the KP! Defo not worth the risk with Arriva, my missus has had buses not turn up before when only going from Ibstock to Coalville. I reckon the Coalville supporters bus usually gets to the KP around 2pm (probably leaves Coalville about 1pm), seen it drive past just as I've been walking to the ground. Either way, it wouldn't give you much drinking time I'm afraid
  2. Welcome to Ibstock! I'm in Ibstock too, transport links to the KP not very good by us I'm afraid. I drive there and park around Western Park/Westcotes part of the city, then its a 30min walk to the ground. Having said that, all transport links by us are rubbish!
  3. I tried it on LCFC website and suprise suprise like most things at our club at the minute, it didn't work (running theme here!). I then tried doing it via the EFL's website and that worked on my Google Calendar . Go to: https://www.efl.com/news/2023/june/get-the-efl-fixtures-straight-onto-your-calendar/, click 'Sky Bet Championship fixtures and then click 'Add fixtures to Calendar'. It will redirect you to the Ecal website, under Browse, select 'Sky Bet Championship'. Click on our beautiful badge and then click SYNC 1 SCHEDULE. You'll need to fill in your details and then jobs a good 'un. Hope this helps
  4. Hi all, I'm a season ticket holder and my matchday routine for the last few seasons has involved parking my car on Dorcester Road (30 min walk) near Western Park but interested to hear where everyone else seems to park their car? Is there anywhere nearer to the King Power Stadium where you can park your car for free? I've been to nearly all the 92 Football League grounds (Spurs, Barrow and Wrexham still on my list to complete!) but I must admit, from my experience, I think parking near the King Power Stadium is probably one of the most awkward places to park your car (I'll exclude the London grounds from that as I usually use the Underground). I used to park on Shakespeare Street off Saffron Lane but found spaces were limited and traffic heading towards Fosse Park and the M1 can be congested after the match. Also, as I live in Ibstock/Coalville, public transport is completely out the question
  5. If someone made these, I'd defo buy one!
  6. God that seems harsh! I was very surprised when they didn't charge me
  7. This would be class! It would get the fans behind him straightaway and might take some of the pressure off him Big Nige as new Director of Football too would be the cherry on the cake
  8. Well finally got through! Rang at 9.01am took me an hour and a half to finally get into a queue of 16 people, took another half an hour of queuing to speak to someone and in fairness I was surprised by the service! Girl on the phone managed to relocate my seat next to my Dad, waivered the £5.00 relocation fee as its only a few rows away and confirmed they would send me a new physical card just before the season starts. Best customer service I've had from the club for a very long time!
  9. Its a joke, trying to relocate one seat next to my Dad, been ringing them since 9.01am and can't even get into a queue! Sums up the whole club at the minute
  10. LCFC must have the same phone system as my doctors!
  11. No you're right, just had a look on Wikipedia. I didn't know he played for West Brom. He was there between 1998 and 2000, guessing either in the Premiership or in Div 1 just before the CCC was launched. Didn't recognise him in a West Brom shirt, the pictures I've seen he had full head of hair!
  12. Bit of a gamble if we appoint him, I question how well does Enzo Maresca know the Championship? I suppose he will have a choice of decent Man City youth players which we could tap up on loan similar to Lampard at Derby a few seasons ago. I have every faith he has been vigorously interviewed by the Leicester City board to ensure they appoint the right man for the job...
  13. Or put a few more off! either way, I'll be there. ST renewed and Physical Card chosen
  14. Speaking to my Dad a few weeks back and he suggested offering the job to JT. I know he's unproven at this stage as a manager and we might want someone with a track record but he's a highly rated coach and he'll knows the players/staff. I thought this was an interesting suggestion and might be worth a go if there are no other options...
