Million per cent better today. Made run after run in and beyond just to keep their defenders second guessing but don’t think he was played in at all. Also did the Wilf element on winning headers from goal kicks pretty successfully by showing some aggression I wasn’t sure he possessed. At the minute just a back up for Wilf but as others have stated he is only a young lad so plenty more to come. Don’t think he will ever be the next Fat Frank but you can see why Chelsea thought he was worth a shot

Was it my imagination or did KDH play more central than previously and Wilf further left ? It was Wilf getting in front of JJ in the first half which didn’t appear to work very well in the final third as Wilf doesn’t really have a left foot. I think in the first 20 mins or so KDH only touched the ball a couple of times and I’m guessing his total touches throughout the game were well down on normal.End result was he scored 2 goals so no drama it just looked liked he play a slightly different role to normal.

According to some experts on here our coaches in the Academy are crap , the u18’s are crap and the u21/23’s are also being coached badly Bearing all that in mind surely there is hope for Hamza to improve under a top class coach like Enzo ?

Not disagreeing Club has decided to spend the vast majority of any transfer funds on the first team rather than gambling on unknown quantities but as you say you only need one to come off

The last two they paid for after someone else had developed them which is their new model. Basically cherry pick the best prospects at around 14 and spend mega bucks it just doesn’t get reported like the Man City and Chelsea’s of this world. They have spent millions of pounds since the new owners took over on Academy signings and not convinced they have much to show for it.
