Hughes on for them Can't stand the Tw@t

I agree. But psychologically it must be hard for a player to return to his previous club fir the first time.. But he shouldn't have even started for me, Fatawu for me all day.
-
Ooh just think what we could do with a bit of creativity in midfield...
-
I have to agree.. Truly want him to do well, but just seems a bit below par for the Premiership
-
Oh dear Jordan
-
Going by Cooper's clueless team selection...you never know, they may be right.
-
I'm a bit disappointed with that if I'm honest. So defence minded it hurts, no creativity and little attacking intent. Makes the inclusion of Mavididi in the starting 11 feel like a token gesture to apease the fans...

Will FFP decision affect our performances ?
Guppys Love Child replied to marcymarc666's topic in Leicester City Forum
I agree.. Its only 3 games in and 2 of them against teams that maybe will be pushing for a European place of some sort, so I'm still standing by my original stand point when he was announced to "give the guy a chance" for now. The next 5 games give us a realistic opportunity to pick up some wins, but if we still see the negative, defensive, hang on and hope to grab something set up I may start to question my stance.... -

I hope you are right my friend.. But I have a horrible feeling he'll continue as is, and we will set up defensively, and minus our more influential players starting. -

I whole heartedly agree, and I think the majority of others would also. Especially your personnel adjustments which seem to be a mirrored exactly again, by the majority. Surely we all can't be wrong with this team selection train of though....so the question I'm asking is why can't Cooper? Once the aforementioned players eventually all make it on the pitch we look so much better for it.... again, why is Cooper also not seeing the improvement that we all do? -
3 games in, 1 point, overall assessment …
Guppys Love Child replied to Nolucklcfc's topic in Leicester City Forum
I Whole heartedly agree.. We are so much better than that, as our/the more 'attack minded' team that finished the game yesterday showed. Its baffling that he doesn't see this, when so many others do, and if he does see it, then its "effing" infuriating that he won't adopt a system and team selection of that ilk from the start to give us a fighting chance in a game, and not have to play catch up. -
Leicester 1 - 2 Villa POST MATCH
Guppys Love Child replied to SecretPro's topic in Leicester City Forum
Spot on every word. I voiced something similar in the match thread about a negative set up, lacking any creative spark due to "3DM's" no Mav and Ricky P who IMO is a must starter, just to give a bit of quality to the defence. We looked a totally different team once we added attack minded players to the game. Surely if a number of fans can all see it Cooper can too? -

Sorry, but I'm not really impressed.. From my "supporter's eye" perspective the selection has little to no intent to create anything, go forward or actually try and win the game. Looks like we are not just parking a bus but a whole coach company. Still no Ricardo or Mavididi ..why? -
Steve Cooper: The Tactics Thread
Guppys Love Child replied to SecretPro's topic in Leicester City Forum
You're spot on with your comment but......that was against championship opposition not superior Premiership, but I see your point. I think our current 'hoof it halfway' as others have posted could just be Coopers way, (just a guess really) or in fact he's actually cottoned on that we're vulnerable when we trying to play it out from the back (as we saw more than once or twice playing EnzoBall last season, against as I've mentioned IMO inferior teams) but who knows for sure. However , I think the problem's run deeper. We lack any real plan or style of play and omitting Ricardo is short sighted as he's proven quality, and whilst I like JJ ( but on the left) there is no way in hell he's the better player of the two to occupy the he RB position, the same goes for not starting Mavididi over Reid. After our pre-season and last two games, to me it looks like we seem to lack urgency and show little desire to try and actually win games, we are just set up not to loose with a hope to nick something if we can. We start games with no tempo and allow our opponents to dictate the play. As with all managers, Cooper is in charge of training ideas, along with match day tactics, style, team selections etc. and it pains me to say IMO he's getting a lot wrong at the moment. He needs to reassess the situation PDQ and actually adapt or he runs the risk of asking Santa for a job come December. I was one of the posters when he was appointed asking others to 'at least give the bloke a chance' and I still am...but only just, and if we see much of the same in the next two or three games I may start to question my stance. -
1-2 Fulham, A Post Match Thread

I think you've hit the nail well and truly on the head there my friend. Granted we're not the best, but the sum of our parts is a whole lot better than what's currently being churned out on the pitch. I was (and just about still) willing to at least to give Cooper a chance. But like a lot of others, I'm confused with his team selection and the not starting of arguably two of our most affective players. To me, we look disjointed and devoid of ideas at times and lacking a plan A, B or Plan anything, and we appear not to be playing to the strengths of the.collective. Like others have said swap Ricky P for JJ's position and then move him over to LB, as Kristiansen hasn't really impressed me. Swop Bobby for Stephy and actually look to press forward.(Yes I appreciate the step up in quality of the opposition - but we can and should show a bit more gusto) Let's at least try and impose our game on the opposition... -

All perfect.. but Needs Ward in goal -
Cheers for digging that one up. Even though I was lucky enough to have gone to it, and knew the outcome, I've just watched the whole video with a heart rate of 140 BPM.. loved it. On a separate note after watching the MoN created rmidfield again it opens up a question I've wanted to ask for a while ...who, at their best would you have. Muzzy or Maddison?

Guppys Love Child replied to simpmeister's topic in Transfer Talk
So would I if I'm honest. Daka is just not true Premiership quality IMO, and whilst Szmodics is not a Haaland his all round game is better then Daka's. His first touch is better, his link up play too. Szmodics' goals seem to be crafted whilst Daka's seem lucky so to speak.
