  1. Hell yes on that front.. I've posted many a time, that if we play a brand of slow build up, possession based, p1ss around pulling the opposition out of shape football under any manager next season in the Premiership, then we'll will get mullered more often than not. Our current team isn't good enough to play that style when facing the major upgrade in opposition we faced in the championship. Plus we can't finance the team upgrade anyway..
  2. Personally I think Vichai, wouldn't have let it get to this point. Purely a unfounded guess, and based on no evidence at all, but Top is being given the ", Mushroom Treatment" IMO, and relies on Rudkin and a few other parasites due to lacking football knowledge at 'running a club level' I've said on occasions that I'd like someone to challenge the club publicly about why we got in this sorry mess, who's head will roll because of it, as the situation and forthcoming fallout warrants more than the current radio silence at the end of the season and shifting all the attention to "never mind the financial debacle - Yay we got promoted";
  3. If I'm honest, I'm not fussed who we get next (as i have no input or decision in process ) but if I was given a choice I just want someone who isn't a possession based Rodgers / Enzoball clone. IMO, In the premiership the style won't work with our current team. Also it's a drab bore and snore fest that I find as exciting to watch as dead snail racing. Tag on our financial restraint's to even give it a slim, to bugger all chance of working by acquiring any realistic targets technical enough to make it successful. So what we need a manager who won't come here requiring what we don't have, and can't actually supply. Unfortunately Top is fixated with the style, and is either oblivious or choosing to ignore the fact we can't give a possession based manager all the jigsaw pieces needed to make the style work.. I hope I'm wrong, and would love to be proven wrong by having a non possession obsessed manager in our dugout.
  4. No..but it's a good start, desperately needed, and IMO long overdue. I agree with your other points my friend, and probably out of fan frustration he does get blamed for stuff outside his sphere of control, but Ric and other posters have hi-lighted other areas that are within his remit, contract length, wage amounts, etc all things that have greatly contributed to our current financial 'fook up', yes others have also contributed to this sad state of affairs, and their collective heads should roll also. Incidentally we still haven't had any communication coming out of the club with regards to that subject...looks like they are hoping that in the euphoria of promotion we all forget about who was to blame and the guilty parties go unpunished..
  5. Totally agree.... But let's give him at least the start of Pre-season under a new manager, with whatever tactics, setup and playing style they want to bring into the side. Just because Enzo and his EnzoBall wasn't a fit for him then, he my thrive under a different gaffer and his ideas
  6. Why do you expect that? As others have already commented before on the situation - young lad, new country, new culture, coming into a new team suffering at that precise moment a total shambles of a season. Did you really expect anything different,? did you really expect him to hit the ground running and have an instant impact, and not require a bedding in period of some kind? You also need to factor in that the odious, little hand clapping, backstabbing, leprechaun was also the 'manager', the same clown who's incompetent team selections including Ward, but also omitted Soyuncu ....so bringing Thomas back in doesn't really surprise me (well he was engineering his own sack for his bumper pay off)
  7. Thank God it wasn't just me who saw it this way too. I had many a "heated discussion" at work, and possibly on here also when voicing my reservations and dislike of EnzoBall as a whole I was just branded a 'football tactics neanderthal', and told it's "because you don't understand it" and don't see the ethos behind the style as to why you hate it No..I fully understood the technical aspects and pulling of the opposition around to make gaps, but it's also just boring as hell to watch, which got worse when the opposition sussed us out and 'Pep wanna be 2.0' was to stubborn to even entertain adapting tactics and style (which ironically was exactly what the opposition did to us) I just (foolishly) live in hope that Top doesn't want the next managerial appointment to continue this god awful brand of football....
  8. Correct my friend, I'm with you on that one ...and I miss it. During the 15/16, we certainly played polar opposite to EnzoBall. And the cameo 1/2 appearances of upping the tempo and stopped pi$$ing around with it "looking for solutions," we were a much better team for it. It's been said before, unless you have a team full of Foden's and De Bruyne's and the the cheque book to buy them, styles like EnzoBall are hard to pull off and be affective regularly and certainly in our own case. If we had starting next season under Enzo playing 'his way, IMO we would have received many a battering.
  9. 100% spot on. For his idea to work unfortunately we can't supply the tools he needs. Personally if I'm honest glad he's gone, as another season of slow, drab, methodical build up EnzoBall would possibly have killed my love of football, I truly hate it. Well he's Chelsea's problem now. I just hope Top see's the light and comes away from wanting to be Man City clone.
  10. Kind of hope not.... After reading the well put together tactical piece by another poster on here Tac.. something or other ( sorry no offence intended, just the name has slipped my mind) I'm quite sold on Corberan.
  11. Do one. IMO He's shown his intent, has been for an interview and it looks like he's accepted the offer. But if Chelsea pull the plug at the 11th Hour, tuff titties princess and you've lost any respect and backing from me. He's willing to jump ship, so bye bye Enzo, thanks for the promotion, and curing cases of insomnia around the stadium with your boring as fvck EnzoBall.
  12. Oh for the love of all things holy, Nooooooo. If that ever happened I think I'd seriously have a mini break from football. I don't think I could stand W.W.W (Waistcoated. Woke. W@nker ) in our home dug out's managers seat. I've seen more charisma in a corpse than that incompetent, talent stifling, buffoon.
  13. Aaar. My mistake on that front.. But bearing in mind our current situation ( looming points deduction, potential lack of ability to actually spend and not infringe rules further) I think we will struggle to attract a higher echelon manager at present.. I too will back the new guy, so we at least agree on that one 👍
  14. Aaar. On this one I don't necessarily agree.. Professional players (well I'd like to hope the ones on our books and the ones that hang around come June) are an adaptable bunch, hi lighted last season by picking up Enzo's idea of possession based football ( not the poisoned leprechaun's bast**dized version) quite quickly and by the same token at some points reverting to a more direct "counterattack" esq style as a cameo appearance in some matches (and IMO looked better when we did) We are potentially going to have to replace a number players pre-season for a number of reasons, and as long as the clowns running the club can address the manager situation ASAP it should be enough time for the new gaffer along with new players and existing to adapt to a new style if needed. And I still maintain the players still under contract who manage to miss the cull to satisfy or soften the PSR gap, along with new acquisitions will perform better if we move away from a possession based system. (See point above)
  15. And Enzo does Corberan has been a manager for around 7 or 8 Years Enzo half of that, also with a sabbatical in the middle of it as a year as Pep's No2. The only slight edge is Enzo being "around" the premiership at Man City.
  16. Your whole post was completely believable until you mentioned Vestergaards overhead. 😜
  17. Maybe... But then again more experienced managers with more success on their CV's haven't cut it at Chelsea. Going to a Dirty 6 club, especially Chelsea, brings a whole new level of pressure and expectance on a manager, and only time will tell if their board (and fans) will cut him some slack when he goes full 'stubborn mode' when things aren't going so well. I wonder also if he'll come out with the same arrogant.. "This is the way Chelsea play, whilst I'm here, and I'll throw my toys out of the pram and leave the next day if questioned" quote. Enjoy going to sleep at matches with EnzoBall Chelsea fans.. You' re going too love it..
  18. Good post my friend, and pretty much where I am. But with regards to Enzo going, I'm not fussed if I'm honest. Yes in the season with us he's done what he's paid handsomely for, and got up promoted and steaded the ship, but I won't miss EnzoBall in any shape or form ( let's hope Top still isn't glamoured by possession football as a requirement with any new appointment...well I can live in hope) or his stubbornness, or lack of Plan B. I'll revisit where I am on the "Deflated Barometer' once we know our points deduction fate and who replaces Enzo if he goes.
  19. Me personally I'm happy to take their money... Who's recently gone there and flourished, apart from Kante Fofana. Played 15 times, dropped off the radar Drinkwater. Cough, cough. Chilwell only played 70 in 4/5 years An average of 16 times a season, hardly first choice, Harry Winks is on 45 already and only one season in with us. 1 out of 4 is a poor ratio on their side and i have a feeling it will 1 out of 5 by Xmas if Enzo goes there as well
  20. I have just the following in response.... FU*K OFF AND EAT SH1T you lying, fraudulent, narcissistic, back stabbing, fan hating, incompetent, shiny toothed, notebook scribbling, tiny hand clapping, odious little C**t of a leprechaun. You will always be my most hated LCFC "manager" of all time. Ok Rant over... I'll accept any incoming ban now..
  21. His surname phonetically is along the lines of "who-ness" (the 'who' part is very, very slightly lengthened when spoken)
  22. Beetlejuice.. Beetlejuice.. Beetlejuice..
  23. By the same token there's no guarantee we'll get it with Enzo this season as well. We are going back up with a shed load of baggage in the form of very limited budget, recently out of contract players that needed replacing and potential points deductions. I wouldn't blame him if he went to Chelsea where the team available to him and financial situation is polar opposite to ours. Ok, What would you do if offered the resources to complete, with a better quality of squad to mold into your idea, and a form of European football next season. Stay at Leicester? Oh I forgot, and potentially a salary increase as well.
