  1. Incredible defending from the Slovakian side, really putting everything on the line
  2. Yeah he's in the correct position and then Doku plays a suicidal square ball and he's then caught out
  3. I've been impressed at the speed of every VAR decision so far Games have barely been stopped for correct decisions to be made
  4. Probably But in all seriousness; this is a perfect time to complete reset the culture and future of the club. Employing a manager who would be in sync with the academy manager is crucial
  5. So now we have a new women's manager to hire, a new academy manager and a first team manager to hire
  6. Hopefully this is an opportunity to invest in a high level coach
  7. Gallagher and Mainoo both added a lot of energy to this midfield. Foden come alive a bit more since Bellingham gone off
  8. Because majority of that side had played 50/60 games this season
  9. Would not have taken Saka off. Unless they're swapping Bowen and Foden now
  10. Gallagher right choice there, adds a lot more running and a bit more grit to the middle. Would go Eze/Palmer for Foden now
  11. He has been comfortable and when we're in the forward 2/3 of the pitch he's brilliant. It's the grit we currently need in our 1/3 that he doesn't give
  12. Think Gallagher or Wharton need coming on for Trent to add a bit more in the middle.
  13. Give it 15, then some fresh legs (Palmer, Watkins/Bowen to really get at them
  14. Him and Kane just aren't linking up well
  15. We do have Shaw to come back, and will be able to swap for a more natural left mid or play more rigid
  16. Kane is exactly where he should be, foden being more fluid positionally and he's drifting from that left forward role and should be landing at the back post
  17. Feels Watkins or Toney would do well in this system.
  18. Yeah he would be. Doesn't need to get involved in play, just be a nuisance and be in the box
  19. I'd argue too similar to Foden. Saka adds a bit more direct running to the side. Palmer is very floaty around the pitch.
  20. Exactly, he can focus on being in the box and on the end of things. Rather than trying to build up for himself.
  21. The timing of the run was brilliant. Trippier on the left does slow out build up a little
  22. They complained tight socks cause their calves to cramp up quicker when sprinting, so they rip to loosen them
  23. Brilliant start ey Both booing the shit out of the anthems
  24. Southgate sets the team etc, and how he wants them to play. But every player on that pitch has enough football intelligence to adapt the instructions and positions for them to click and play in an open, attacking wah We are however, tactically slow at adapting to in game issues.
  25. Chelsea I think, remember someone saying he was pushing for the move or something similar
