That's true. Unique conditions of covid played v well be sleepy Joe True and we can keep repeating that 'we will hold those accountable for bad things happen' but it clearly does not resonate and has absolutely no effect on the man on the street. So it's a rudderless message. It's horrendous marketing and communication from the Dims. Compare that to how cool and calm Keir Starmer was when Rishi spouted that dumb £2bn lie about 1318 times in the debate.
-
Trump gets away with it because the Dimocrats are so weak. Look at how John Micklethwait dealt with Trump a few weeks ago. Therein lies an experienced person who knows what he's talking about, has a response to Trump polices, kept his cool and put across his own ideas. Trump was flustered and could not deal with him, an undecided voter would not sway towards Trump after listening to that. On the other hand, you've had a succession of weak and clueless candidates (Clinton, Biden, Harris) who have been flailed and veered off course by Trump. If you are flustered by burger man, you do not inspire confidence as an international leader.

Official criminal investigation, meet my criminal investigation. They both have ludicrous allegations of election interference ongoing. The best pathway forward would've been to put some credible policy, targets and actions forward to help the lives of the American people improve. Seen as there's less than two weeks to go and they have singularly failed to do that, we are back in the Sean Dyche Tuesday night at Burnley dogfight we have had for the last 8 years. I have no idea why an undecided voter would be swayed to Kamala. It would be like voting for Shaun Bailey for PM.

You'd hope the DoJ don't get involved if you are anti-Trump. The comeback is easy. 'We have proof democrats are bringing in foreign politicians to influence our elections, these elections are crooked' etc etc. Once again the dim democrats have walked into another vote winner for Trump

‘Ageism is a form of discrimination where people are mistreated based on their age. It is rooted in a lack of knowledge, prejudice, and stereotypes. Despite being a form of discrimination, ageism is often not taken seriously, and it is even considered one of the last socially acceptable prejudices’ Unless all the boomers are a bunch of soppy crybaby snowflakes, there’s nothing wrong with ageism
-
Disagree tbh. We pay and elect the people that make our decisions. Boomers have been proven by many metrics to be the most incompetent generation to have ever lived. Whether they removed ice from inside their windows or not (massive LOL at that post btw, all time classic). We will be remembered as the same I guess when we leave about 10% of the world to be habitable to our children with about 1% able to afford it

Yeh but that is where the opposition, the sitting office holder, is at now. Less than two weeks pre election. 'They did it already so it's fine!!!!!' Hilariously incompetent running of a campaign. I am glad Starmer has not resorted to the 'they did it already' argument in relation to his sleaze being uncovered. At least I think and hope he hasn't.

I think it is a huge stretch to pin those events on Trump or the USA. Russia and personalities such as Farage and Bojo ramped up the rhetoric pre Brexit, that referendum was campaigned for in Feb - June 2016, before Trump hit his stride. We are responsible for our huge failings as a democracy, not the burger man or the once powerful USA. Following that, media investors like Paul Marshall figured out there's loads of dumb money to be made from suburban administrators and compliance workers. Him coming in will have a negligible difference on the trajectory of this country. See above Daily Mirror tweets for confirmation of where we are.
-
It became very serious here too, but we just conveniently forgot about it in our unique British way. David Amess and Jo Cox were shocking affairs and sad indictments of our democracy. We also frequently have those campaigning attacked by milkshakes and other humorous edible items. Attacks on Jewish MP offices. Cannot think of any consequences for these events, when our own politicians whip up hate in a similar manner to Trump.
-
We got tweets from the Daily Mirror and screenshots from LinkedIn being used as evidence for arguments on here LOL. The landmass that voted for Brexit has no right to laugh at the Yanks

Yeh but that's Trump, he is the Sean Dyche Burnley of politics. Everyone knows what he does, and it's a shame the Dems are so low-IQ as to keep falling for it. I bet they actually address this lawsuit rather than just ignoring it for the attention-seeking it is. I do not know how they have so many inexperienced incompetents around them as to have turned this election into a referendum on Trump. There will be an appropriate Facebook meme shared by a 62 year old saying something like 'when they go low the only way to win is for you to go high reach for the stars' to sum up what I am saying

Yeh Piastari is a better driver than Norris for me. Much cooler and less dumb errors, looks like an experienced driver already. Norris' bad starts have created a self-fulfilling prophecy, if he's in pole and you're in P2-4, you are going to be more aggressive because you know he's so vulnerable.
-
Sport is a game of opinions but Lando as the second best driver is a surprise. What had given you that opinion. His starts are terrible and he’s not great defending under pressure. He makes a lot of smaller basic errors, which at the highest level of sport is unacceptable

To watch Donald Trump rallies!!! I watched Greensboro last night. The greatest rally in the history of the world. We had 200,000 people outside and another 100,000 people outside who had queued up for two days in 150 degree heat
-
Lol what, you think they’re gonna keep the place open to the public and let bubba just walk in and order a happy meal??
-
You can claim the taxi cost back. Call then and keep cab receipts
-
Yeh. Quite nice.
-
Hahaha, ‘we had thousands tens of thousands actually millions at my rally in butler people queued up outside for days weeks actually months’
-
Hence I in no way trust a potential Harris administration to take the climate transition seriously. Their disclosure is baseless, there’s no plan other than ‘we take it seriously’ which is exactly what Shell also say. It’s even funnier because trump tries to attack Harris for being big on climate, when she clearly isn’t. His attack lines of ‘green new scam’ and ‘electric car mandate’ are made up

That’s what I mean. What are they actually offering?? An extension of the IRA? Gold plating the SEC proposals? The above reads like page 373 of a ftse 100 annual report. Zero substance, total guff
-
What have they actually offered? Not a rhetorical question btw. What are their policies, I’m struggling to find anything of substance.
-
Yeh you’re probably right…Also I don’t think we have any idea of the true impact of agriculture on ghg emissions. It’s a bit like scope 3 at entity level. You can kinda have a stab at it but in no way get data which is fully auditable
