Guess it depends who would be selected next, but Dean Smith was uninspiring, and the very fact we had to employ Cooper was due to mismanagement, no? The fact Rodgers was here way beyond his sell by date, also speaks to mismanagement. I agree that Rodgers was initially good and Maresca was an excellent pick up, but why not continue with these type of choices? It feels very scattergun too me and as long as we fail to retain a consistent approach with managers, it will continue this way to be inconsistent appointments, but perhaps it is a necessary risk/reward for a club at this level.
