  1. Return to Moria. Builder, decent progression but combat is a bit pish.
  2. Don’t imagine the axe would fall after losing away to Arsenal, would need to be a loss of biblical proportions you would imagine.
  3. This is true, it cannot be a surprise if he gets boot regardless of any metric, such is The Twilight Zone of Chelsea.
  4. But he now potentially has the tools (money) to circumvent this.
  5. There is a reason why since our title win, the wages of a team roughly indicates a teams likely finishing position. Our win was an outlier and not a useable point of reference since.
  6. Would you rather fight 1 90m Ayew or 90 1m Ayew, these are questions that will define Coopers success I feel
  7. Yes, the majority, but not all. I do agree that I am unconvinced it would of made much difference though!
  8. Because the majority of the squad was not there for 12 games, only 5, and then not even complete until the last game. Not excusing, but let’s not make it worse than it is.
  9. It’s true if a bit revisionist or ignoring the mood at the time of that dip, people were in despair, claiming a repeat of previous season collapses, it was actually quite horrible how negative and hopeless people got so very quickly. Never thought Cooper would pick up and run with Enzo’s style, as football managers are largely arseholes who like to do it their own way.
  10. You would hope the club had a metric to judge acceptability of his performances, so maybe 7-10 points from the first 1/4 of the league (assuming fixtures are realistic) and if it fails, they pull the trigger. Of course, they may not, they may just be reactive and their historic malaise with such decisions in such a reactive manner does not fill anyone with optimism for a change if that were the case.
  11. Pick one. Won by the person who can throw sh*t the furthest.
  12. As far as debunking goes, it’s not the best, maybe 2/10.
  13. That is fair and it was a glib statement, here we seem to be getting progressively worse, regardless of opposition which is mind-blowing. Same old story, you might be shite, but press us and your chances are at least decent - that is why I was so disappointed when Enzo went, he at least a plan and all the players knew it
  14. Or the learn from Pearson and give him time? These types of comparisons can be taken whichever way you like, would rather they came out and set a target, but as they lack the football savvy infrastructure above the manager, they are in no position to do so.
  15. Yet still bares repeating
  16. I am not defending him, his tactics, it’s horrible to see, and I would welcome a change, but having said it, I do not feel it requires 20 new threads to repeat that fact, and if there is a hangover from the relegation then it’s time to get over it, as there is no rolling that back.
  17. You reckon Cooper got his enforcer, Coady to do it?
  18. On here, get out the echo room
  19. Enzo was poached Plenty on here disliked his style and were glad to see the back of him Karma’s a bitch. Moaning is not a shortcut to happiness.
  20. Do you mean wingers staying wide and crossing or come into the box from this wide position, or cutting inside earlier?
  21. It’s not just a Cooper thing, he just does it particularly badly. Inverted wingers are ‘wrong footed’ to allow them to come inside, to join with team mates in the centre, thus creating overloads. At least I thought so, but yes, resident tactics guru @StriderHiryu could perhaps shed further light on this tactical foible.
  22. What was that last penalty??
  23. Start him Saturday, he has earnt it.
  24. Greatest seduction line ever, works every time.
