Please don't think I am trying to denigrate Maresca's achievements this far, they have been remarkable. Just don't know how well it will translate to the higher division, but i would love it (Full Keegan love it) if he was equally as capable in the premier League.

Not sure that can be regarded as realistic tbh. We were poor enough to go down, and we have ripped almost all of what we were up, added a new manager, new style, many new players, all tested and evolved in the Championship. Survival and bedding our further evolved style in the Premier League is not downplaying expectations, just realistic evolution imo. Then the league the season after….

Sorry I am lost as to the last sentence, but I gather others view a trophy as major almost regardless of its global import.

That was my assumed meaning behind these comments, and I just struggle to see the same description appointed to the Championship Trophy, applied to other past honours we have won, but as stated, the fact I cannot view them as comparable, it's just a personal take.

I get it, I do, what you say is true, and when is winning a trophy ever unwanted? The fact something is no longer unlikely should not denigrate past achievements in the face of more achievable contemporary ones, but maybe that is just me, everyone sees it different I guess and perhaps after a troubling period, it maybe just what we need.

Nobody is saying we don’t want to win the league, but to say it is a major honour as the FA Cup or EPL title is laughable. Please win it, add it to our record books, but it cannot be compared to an EPL title, so struggle to see it as major as that is all. Anyway, 3 points against Rotherham please chaps.
