  1. To be fair, apart from that scrimmage header which hit the bar and the direct free kicked saved by Leysen, you created absolutely zilch in the first 90. You went ahead from an unlucky owngoal, I think that cancels out the freak (or world class, label it however you want) strike by Mijatovic.
  2. 45 minutes in a friendly. Calm down.
  3. Traoré will normally be presented today, was spotted for his medicals earlier and has been in Leuven since Friday apparently. https://www.transfermarkt.fr/abdoul-karim-traore/profil/spieler/1284784 EDIT: Done deal! Abdoul Karim Traoré versterkt Leuvense aanval - OHL - Oud-Heverlee Leuven
  4. Two more players who supposedly will be confirmed soon. Not official yet probably because they're African and would require a work permit. Raki Aouani - Player profile 25/26 | Transfermarkt Abdoul Karim Traoré - Profil du joueur 25/26 | Transfermarkt
  5. Both happen. The downside of someone bringing in his own staff is that if someone of that staff leaves, it often leaves a big gap. Prime example would be Marc Brys who was our manager for 3,5 years. He had Issame Charaï in his staff, who was rumoured to be the tactical brains. Charaï left to coach the Moroccan U23, and everything imploded on the pitch. Another good example would be Union, who have had four different managers the last four years, but their staff remained as is during those four years. And it works very well for them.
  6. Yes, 89 games in four years for us.
  7. Yeah. Still early stages in his career but was very highly regarded when coaching Anderlecht's U18 and actually did well this season when he took over their first team too. Averaged about 1.8 points per game including European football, and made it to the Belgian cup final, with a squad that was riddled with injuries really. Also an ex-player of ours and seen as an intelligent and charismatic individual.
  8. Source? EDIT: Nvm, found it. Also, thank god for that.
  9. As you said, we were just an inbetween so whilst he was not theoretically on loan here, he was here because Leicester wanted him to be here. Boils down to the same thing.
  10. I know that our youth teams regularly come to Seagrave. Apart from that, not really, mainly because of what Ryy mentioned. Sowah was the only really successful loanie, and Eliott Moore ages ago was decent. The rest failed, some quite spectacularly (Opoku, Eppiah, Kapustka, Hirst, Benkovic). I think after Benkovic flopped, they just gave up on it.
  11. Honestly wouldn't wish that on you guys!
  12. That's interesting, because one would argue that someone who buys a season ticket has every right to complain if he doesn't get value for his money. As opposed to someone who apparently doesn't.
  13. Doesn't that work both ways though? If Rudkin and Whelan are responsible now, surely they were also responsible back then? And if they weren't responsible back then, surely the fault is Top's, as he's the main difference between then and now?
  14. Yes, and we're related to Leicester City in the sense that we have the same owner, are technically sister clubs, play a friendly every year, you've had some players on loan with us in the past, some youth teams of ours come to Leicester regularly for excursions, etc... All in all, we're a bit relevant to your club, whether you like it or not. So again, you can not give a sod about us. I just find it quite odd how certain people always have to loudly declare how they don't care about something. You don't? Fine. Just don't read it then? It's not like your being forced all of this down your throat.
  15. It is, and I can imagine there being other topics that you don't give a sod about. Do you feel the need to loudly declare that as well?
  16. Lots of green flags though, despite his age. Took over a troubled Anderlecht side mid season and actually did more than decent there considering the circumstances (injuries and a generally rather imbalanced squad). He was their U18 manager prior and was very well spoken of back then as well. Apart from that, he wants to play 433/4231 (which is in line with the club's request and one of the reasons apart from the results why they want Coleman gone), has a clear and well defined vision on how he wants his team to play, is an ex-player of ours, and is generally known as a charismatic and intelligent individual. Real leader on the pitch back in the day as well.
  17. Still need Top's signature to fire Coleman though, can't move forward with Hubert until that's done.
  18. You could have just, you know, skipped this thread then.
  19. Apparently, the only reason Coleman hasn't been sacked yet is because Top so far refuses to sign his resignation. In the meantime, we have personal agreements with five new players but can't sign them as long as Coleman is around because they need to know who the new manager will be and how he wants to play..
  20. Brunes will stay in Poland at Rakow, with the Poles activating his clause. Polish media cites 1,5M, Transfermarkt says 2. Either way, we recover most of his transfer fee, which is good news.
  21. Might also be that you don't have anyone good enough to be added value for us. The last loans (Sowah being the exception) have been absolute shambles in that regard iirc.
  22. Presumably, yes. They're obviously talking to other candidates, I reckon he will only be finalized once there's an agreement with someone who will take over. This is indeed not correct. We're not a feeder club or in any other way meant as a step up to Leicester. Also shows in the fact that there haven't been any meaningful Leicester loans in ages. Moore and Sowah were the only succesful ones in the past, with a few others flopping. Basically, we just have the same owners. Nothing more, nothing less.
  23. Ditto, just not labeling him as a hot prospect anymore as he already turned 23 in March.
  24. From what I've seen, absolutely. From what we've seen in the last game, someone who wants to play forward, a nice bit of flair, moves well, good technicals. Only seventeen, too. There's quite a few to be honest. We currently have two kids at the Euros U17 with Belgium, both starting full backs, who just progressed to the semi finals from a group with England, Italy and Czech Republic. From the U23, goalie Radelet is supposedly the biggest talent but there are a few that have featured a few times for the first team already. Plenty to look out for imo.
  25. Westerlo kind of as well due to proximity, more than Sint-Truiden. But yeah, we don't have any fierce rivalries except with Tienen (who play in third division). Persistent rumour that we're talking to Karel Geraerts to replace Coleman. Would be a good choice but even if it isn't him (competition from Lens, KV Mechelen and Standard), the most important note is that Coleman's days are numbered.
