Just really unfortunate to be in a position where we have to sell a local kid. I flew in from the US to watch Vardy’s last game and I sat next to Kasey’s aunt who couldn’t stop talking about how much he loved the club and how excited she was at his performance in that match. She knew that meant so much to him. I don’t think he’s a world beater but I do think he’s a great depth player with a great attitude. Something many others at this club are lacking. But I do have to say, I am a bit surprised at how quickly this all occurred. Not sure exactly what that says.

Vintage Vardy and the best example of what ndidi can do if he's playing higher up. Disrupt those uncomfortable on the ball and make something happen. Consistency will obviously be the issue.

With all the context surrounding this game, this club, this season, the performance by Fatawu has to rank up there in our history. I mean 3 goals & 1 assists against a promotion rival, oscillating form, looming financial fight. What a showing and so great to see him take it all in after the final whistle.
