With all due respect, I think there’s been a fair bit of over-reaction here. Apart from their dodgy goal (looked suspiciously offsides to me, but irregardless), we’ve been fairly comfortably in control of the game, albeit without creating a lot of good scoring opportunities. I expect we will eventually wear them down and WIN this! COYF!

Let’s not go overboard. They got their goal from what very suspiciously ‘offsides’. Otherwise, our defense hasn’t been troubled and has limited them to that one shot.

I believe it was actually 45 mil. If I recall correctly, it was structured as a 2-year loan with an obligation to buy. Nuts!! But at least it made @Ric Flair happy for a minute.

I recall one big miss (and even that wasn’t a ‘blatant’ miss) by Mavididi, but will welcome you remind us of the other “over and over” misses… I also recall Meslier making a good diving save of a Mavididi shot, and Mavididi almost literally dropping the ball onto Ricardo’s head who just missed making contact. Frankly, the most cogent recall was how much our attack dropped off after Mavididi was subbed off (whether rightly so or not constituting a separate discussion).

Initially I thought this was facetious…. It wasn’t, but if it was then it’s an incredibly poor decision. Daka had more a decent game overall… But that miss was horrendous. Happens to even the best.

Sorry but we still would… It just wouldn’t be as big a deal.

BTW, hate to nitpick… But that was a foul on Fatawu leading to their 2d goal. Also, while I don’t like picking on our players… I don’t get the love-in with McAteer, especially when Mavididi was running the Leeds defense ragged. Still 6 points ahead… We go again next against an unpredictable QPR.
