Happy Barry Hayles Derby day everyone!

Whats absolutely ridiculous is this point of view.
-
It’s hardly baffling is it? Let’s face it, the lad isn’t all that…. I’d rather have the money in the bank and we go a reinvest which is what the club are planning. We’ve got to sell some players in order to get players in……
-
Everton, West Ham and Ipswich also want Ferguson….. allegedly. It’s like he’s the saviour of the shit.
-
Reckon that’s where it’s going.
-
To be fair, I think his home sickness has just seen the club want to cash in. Selling both him and Cannon significantly raises funds for this window…. However, it’s a risky game to play.
-
Is that so they can loan him out when they’re playing none league football?
-
Other than his fighting skills, there’s something about Chair I like. He’s a nasty little shit with a bit of something. Wonder if he is worth a tickle.
-
Kees Smit is someone to monitor. Starting to look excellent for AZ.
-
I’d be happy to see us send Facundo back and bring someone else in on loan. There’s no chance of signing him either so I’d rather we loan in a player with a view to signing them. Or, KDH? Although he is adamant he isn’t leaving Chelsea.

A four way shoot out. That’s why I said it’s all about January.

No ground gained again. Let’s spend like a coked up Boris Johnson in a strip club, all aboard HMS piss survival.

But in fairness, Everton have a decent defence…. They just can’t score goals. -

Dyche is ****ing shit. -
Soumare needs to be dropped. He offers absolutely **** all in the midfield at all, he’s such a passenger. I think it’s time to give Skipp a run out again, along side Winks, where he actually looked at his best I thought. Ruud won’t do it, but I think the team should be.. Stolorczyk Coady Vesty Faes Woyo VK Skipp Winks Buonanotte Bilal Vardy He’s got to get something different, six defeats in a row would suggest he needs to look at something else.

I found it interesting that Ruud talked about systems, and mentioned not being able to play a back 5 for example. It makes me think that he wants to play a different system, but feels with the players available he can’t do that. You wonder with a profile like Woyo, he may be looking to move to a new system? -
Comparing this season to 2014/15 Great Escape
Pliskin replied to tickler28's topic in Leicester City Forum
You have to look at the characteristics of the squads in the battle. The great escape team did have some quality in it, there was Vardy coming into his prime, Mahrez who was technically as good as any in the league, two hardened centre backs and an experienced rolls Royce in Cambiasso in the CM. The great escape in my opinion was down to a switch in formation that got the best out of the players we had. It was though looking desperate, I remember resigning myself to relegation, yet look what happened. There are some subtle similarities, in terms of at times we’re not playing badly, and there is some quality in the squad, however….. there’s a soft underbelly to us which is never good when you’re in a scrap. 6 defeats in a row, you’ll be forgiven for feeling hopeless….. but, there is always a chance until it’s impossible. We need to recruit the right kind of characters into the squad, and it really does boil down to this window… I still believe one or two decent signings will make a difference. I think we need to get a CB in along with a winger and a striker if possible. -
Depends if Okoli’s heads in it. If he’s destined to leave and is home sick, he is likely to be on his arse…..

He has improved our defence. We were giving away far too many efforts on goal under Cooper. Our issues are mistakes, individual errors are killing us. If we still had Cooper we would be bottom. We were benefitting from early season rust and luck V a lot of teams. Ruud has got us playing better football and has us more organised, but this has further exposed our weaknesses. But this can be a good thing, because it highlights as plain as day which positions we’ve got to strengthen in. I still maintain this comes down to who has the best window. -
Will they? They’re shit….. as are Wolves as are Ipswich. We are all as shit as one another, if we can sell Okoli and Cannon we may have and edge in the market, we’re going to have to spend our way to safety.
-
To be fair, we should have kept him on, his turn of pace and drop of the shoulder had the stewards on their arse!
-
Palace are safe now. This has created a mini league, which I think we all knew would be the case. We just some how need to better that mini league. Saints are gone, it’s down to us Ipswich, Wolves and Everton. Whichever two teams have the best window wins.
-
We’re only two points from safety….. how about we start these threads later of necessary?
