  1. Meh, really not bothered if he goes he isn’t that good and he would be more useful to us making money off him. Would need a replacement though.
  2. RIP Sven, true gent of the game.
  3. Wolves are in a bit of trouble this year I think.
  4. Surely Forest are in hot water again with PRS?
  5. Is Angelo Gabriel still at Chelsea? Should be going for him.
  6. It will come out in the wash one day. But I think it’s fair to say Cooper wasn’t our number one target, and to be fair, it very much feels like that’s the case. I feel for the guy, he already looks a bit lost.
  7. No choice but to play him really. But he isn’t very good.
  8. He pulled out due to a disagreement in backroom staff. Cooper was very much a second option.
  9. Don’t rate him. Not enough quality at either end of the pitch.
  10. We did…….
  11. I respectfully don’t agree. I didn’t think much to Fulham. First half we just gave them far too much respect and made them look good. Second half they really didn’t kick on at all, and it was largely thanks to our absolute incompetence that they won. I honestly thought at 1-1 we had half a chance, but we too never kicked on ourselves. Fulham are alright, but I think we really overestimate the quality of the premier league sometimes. I’m not suggesting we’re good however, under Cooper we’re going to suck.
  12. This is it. You can expect there to be a slow start, no one would suggest this isn’t a possibility…. But like you’ve alluded to, you expect to see some form of a plan, evidence of a system and a philosophy…. At the moment our approach can be described as a “birra this and a birra that”.
  13. Really? I’m watching them thinking how shit they are. To be fair, this weekend of football for how utterly dreadful we were gives me hope. There’s so much shit in this division, and if we get our arses into gear we’re capable of finishing above a handful of teams. Everton, Forest, Wolves, Ipswich, Southampton, all look very ropey…. With Everton and Wolves looking particularly poor. Brentford, Fulham, Palace and West Ham although they won’t be drawn into a relegation battle, don’t look particularly great themselves. If we can get some kind of plan together, and bring in a couple of decent players over the next week (a striker at the very least) there’s enough in this team to stay up.
  14. The bottom half of the league really is shit.
  15. **** me. What kind of decision was that? Feel four Bournemouth that’s a honking decision.
  16. No point binning the deal, we won’t get him anyway….
  17. Posts like this just highlight some still aren’t able to grasp the point…..
  18. I know someone who’s had dealings with him, and he said he’s a ****.
  19. Mads Ricardo Faes Vesty Justin Skipp Winks McAteer Bounanotte Mavadidi Ayew Now, I know I gave Ayew some pelters, but one thing he does rather well is hold the ball and link the play. So perhaps we use him as a false 9 and try and get McAteer, Bounners and Mavadidi to play off him, and they be the advancing runners. He isn’t going to score goals, but he may be useful being a nuisance and bringing others into play.
  20. They obviously don’t get to watch us every week. At the moment we’re stuck between two styles of play, Coopers pragmatic approach and a little bit of Enzo ball. Vesty and Wout were just trying to play their game as normal. Vesty was punching passes through the press, but because Winks was the only midfielder functioning in the ball we just kept giving it away. When this happens it’s easy to look at both players and being poor on the ball, and none of the passes come off. At the moment collectively it’s not working, so perhaps Cooper is quick enough to try and alter his tactics slightly, but this remains to be seen. Overall they’ve made some very good points.
  21. Good post that, sums the game up perfectly.
  22. It’s probably not as simple as the contract being signed. But the suggestions were Potter was happy to take the job providing he could bring in his own DOF. It’s funny how one paper suggested Potter was set to be unveiled as the new manager, and then 24 hours later it’s Cooper. And a fair few are suggesting that it’s the reason the whole thing collapsed.
