2 of those signings were said to be for the future and this season was for them to get use to the league. So it's to early to judge them really

Summer 2022 priorities (and realistic options)

Why sell Soumare -
Can someone in the back room staff just tell Rodgers in the last 25 mins if a defender isn't injured that he has none he can put on. We would do so much better
-
And youri would say then I won't agree to a contract with them and you will get nothing and I will go on a free next year if you sell me to a team I don't want to go to

Looks like a very tidy player. Likes to dribble and get stuck in. It might take a season to get use to the league but he likes to use his body so might not take that long. Definitely looks like we aren't looking to replace Tielemans but to get more well rounded player as there's nothing he really excels at but nothing he is bad at as well -
And now going for Yilmaz makes more sense
-
The problem is if we don't start giving first team football we will probably lose him. Or do you think he will want to continuously go on loan for the next 2-3 seasons
-
Iversen is too good for the championship and I would definitely start rotating him with Kasper next season. Otherwise I fear we will lose him

Apparently Rodgers wants Kalimuendo who's on loan at Lens from PSG -
But would say Ricardo is the only real attacking player on that list. It why I'm happy with the DL were linked to as he is more attacking and would compliment Thomas well and we could switch between the 2 depending on with of the skill set works best against the opposition
-
They do both fill a different role. Thomas is more defensive and Yilmaz is more attacking and much more of a fast dribbler. I don't see why playing each player for a different type of team that their skill set will work best against isn't a good thing.

Rodgers has shown he would much rather play a CDM as a CB instead of him. I wouldn't call that him rating him
-
And watch Daka start against PSV

Development/Youth Squads 2021/2022 Thread
Attywolf replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Hasn't it been said that the squad is going to get a large overall this summer selling alot of the older players and fringe players and that we are looking at getting alot of young players. It's the end a cycle of course the squad isn't as youth oriented this season but as a trend it is overall -

Iversen, little Wes, Ndidi, Justin, Barnes, KDH and Daka is most likely the plan to build around -

Wonder if we will go after Ricci again this summer. He is on loan at the moment and though hasn't looked amazing in match ratings he is one of the best U23 CM player in the top 5 leagues in ball progression and is in the top half of U23 CM players in ball winning stats -
It's pretty clear with young players Rodgers doesn't think of them for the season they are brought in but the season after. As if we want to immediately improve the squad we will end up buying 28/29 year old players and would most likely end up like Everton in a couple of seasons

This is literally the model we use by selling Maguire, Chilwell extra and using that money to buy more young up and coming talent. We don't have the money to get new talent and not sell one of are best player every season -
Think for Leicester it might be better for the squads future to sell him and use the funds to improve the squad
-
Think the plan is to get de ketelaere and Madueke

Kelechi hasn't really scored all that much this season, Daka has scored twice as much in less starts. -
I think people forget he has a year left in this contract. It's 25 mill probably to try and sell outside of England or he goes for nothing
