Finished 2nd in the league and then this:-

depressing. Guess we'll be seeing crowds well over 20,000 next season.

I recommend the following podcast about effects of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) on Shane Christie (and his friend Billy Guyton) whose diagnoses only became clear after their deaths (apparently this condition cannot be diagnosed before death). It is largely told by his ex-partner Holly Parkes. A 50 minute listen but I do recommend

I see the Guardian had also published an article about this:
[t is thought that Steve Thompson's early onset dementia is the effect of CTE -Wikipedia]
I remember reading over 90% of NFL players have it in some form....its one of the reasons soccer has become so popular there. Although with recent findings on heading the ball and cte I wonder how safe it is.

I'd love to see only 10-15 thousand there next season but no doubt we'll have more than that in season tickets alone.

wow so many great games again today, not sure this season will ever be topped.

Seems like a long time since chelsea or man city werent in the FA cup final.
No doubt it will be a complete borefest.

It’s an absolute joke.

I think Derby will scrape the play offs
they probably have the easiest last fixture and have the best GD.
Imagine derby, forest and cov in the prem and us in league 1.

Man City have lost to minnows at Wembley of course - Palace last year and Man United the year before
Win the match is what I meant. Amazed if they don't win the whole thing though.

yep always happens.
yawn...now they'll win it.
-
Please don't ruin it now.
I wonder if it woke those sleeping fans up?

It'd be all over the BBC Sport's Football page if they manage to get promotion..
Last season you said the wrexham wheels would come off, they got promoted, this season you said they'd get relegated...but i think you might be right with your prediction of their possible promotion being on the bbc sport website.

Good day for Wrexham potentially without playing.
It's always sunny...well you know.

So confirmed we'll be playing MK Dons again then as they got promoted today.
They even invaded the pitch. Our fans are even more placid than MK Dons fans.

The last home game before League One football next season, and we’ve got people still using clappers and also deciding to wave their phones about with flashlights on.
The brainwashing is complete.

Looking good for wrexham now...the dream remains.

Everything asked was going to be in place, the extension was given. Just seems a ridiculous OTT reaction. Of course I am only going off their statement and their might be more to it.
