  1. Barely given Buananotte a sniff whilst we still had a chance at survival despite him being one of our best players early season First game after relegation is confirmed and he starts him despite the fact he won't be here next season Utter ****ing clown, sooner he is gone the better
  2. 8 goals 3 assists in 1100 minutes now this season, the lack of minutes obviously precludes him from being considered a massive success but that's a great return in the minutes he has had
  3. Knew things were looking far too competent for Ruud, BDCR on for Mavididi ffs
  4. Souttar on crutches can't be a great deal worse than Coady, Faes, or Vestergaard
  5. Coady was such a shit signing, wasn't even good enough for us in the Championship and somehow is starting games in the Prem, another one absolutely leeching wages he doesn't deserve, can't wait to see the back of these parasites the squad is rammed full of
  6. Still want Urs Fischer Fell apart a bit at the end at Union Berlin but his record was remarkable They finished 8th in the second division before he took over, got them promoted to the Bundesliga for the first time since it formed in 1990 in his first full season. Finished 11th, 7th, 5th, 4th in his 4 season in the Bundesliga. Progressed from Conference League to Europa League to Champions League season on season. Only spent about 100 mil over 5 seasons with only one signing over 10 mil. In 20/21 lost Andersson, his top scorer of the previous 2 seasons, signed Max Kruse who was top scorer for a season and then lost him to Wolfsburg 18 months later, signed Awoniyi who became top scorer and then also lost him after just one season. Sheraldo Becker was top scorer next and again lost him after one season. So in 4 consecutive seasons the top scorer from the previous season left and each time they kept progressing and finishing higher until it eventually caught up with them. As well as Kruse they also lost Friedrich (starting CB) in January and Andrich (Starting CM) in the summer of 2021. So they went from 7th to 5th whilst losing 3 key players. So he took a midtable second division side to the Conference League, Europa League, and Champions League in 5 seasons, finished higher each consecutive season whilst spending minimal amounts and consistently losing key players every season. His sides don't play particularly pretty football but it is efficient and effective. In 20/21 they had the 4th best defence in the league, 3rd best in 21/22, and when they finished 4th in 22/23 they only conceded 38 goals in 34 games, the joint lowest with Bayern. They play disciplined, rigid, well drilled football.
  7. I looked this up, his longest run that season without a win was 9 games and he drew 4 of them, 4 of the 5 losses were by a single goal, we never dropped lower than 8th in the table and still finished 6th and made the playoffs. Comparing that to this shower of shite is shockingly inaccurate.
  8. But none of this gives any indication that RVN has anything about him as a manager, your reasons are basically "he has been so incredibly shit that it can't get any more shit", what would he have to do for you to finally throw the towel in on him?
  9. Genuinely what have you seen in him that gives you any hope to not throw the towel in? I'm not even asking this to be snarky, I just can't think of a single thing that he does remotely competently. We can't score, we can't create chances, we can't defend. There is absolutely no urgency, he clearly has no ability to motivate the players or get them fired up. He has no desire or interest in making changes and trying new things, we had 0.02xg last game and he trotted out the exact same lineup again.
  10. There is a genuine argument he is our worst ever manager. Using the manager stats on here only Dave Bassett and Frank McLintock have lower win percentages. RVN has us scoring less and conceding more per game than both of those did. Both of those kept more clean sheets and neither had a losing streak longer than 7 in all comps, RVN is on 9 as it stands. Neither went longer than 4 games without scoring a goal, RVN is on 8 league games without a goal.
  11. U18s Finished 5-3 to Arsenal Josh King, Louis Page, and Lorenzo Strachan with the goals I don't really know anything about Strachan, doesn't seem to be much about him other than he is still listed on QPR's website for their U18s, so either a trial or a recent signing Will Daniels got sent off late on too Also of note, highly touted Max Dowman scored a hattrick for Arsenal, 2 of the goals apparently he dribbled from inside his own half to score
  12. I think comparing what they did with the same set of players is more apt than comparing results with two separate sides Cooper had 10 points in 12 games, RVN has 7 in 17, 0.83ppg vs 0.41ppg Cooper 1.25 goals per game and 1.92 conceded per game RVN 0.53 goals per game and 2.35 conceded per game RVN has 15.46xg and 34.40xga in 17 games Cooper had 14.29xg and 28.61xga in 12 games The only argument you can make in favour of RVN is that we have allowed a little less xga per game (2.02 vs 2.38), but that hasn't translated into anything meaningful as we are conceded 0.43 more per game under him than under Cooper The football was dire under Cooper, but he was without a doubt getting more out of this squad than RVN is I am not arguing that Cooper was the messiah, but quite clearly he was far more competent than RVN is, I could at least trick myself into believing we had a chance in games under Cooper, I can't even convince myself we might score a goal under RVN
  13. Just take the points deduction, having this dead weight managing the club is essentially a 10 point deduction anyway
  14. How on earth is this man still in the job Lost 14 of the last 15 games Scored 4 and conceded 37 in those 15 Last scored a goal on the 26th January, 8 games ago Last scored a home goal 8th December, close to 5 months now If you take out the first 2 games (which seems like a an extreme outlier given what has followed) we have an xg of 11.25 in 15 games, the next lowest is Southampton on 14.30 We have 0 clean sheets in 17 games under him. There is absolutely nothing remotely competent, we can't score goals, we can't create chances, we can't defend, his tactics are shit, his substitutions even worse He leaves me longing for the glory days of Steve Cooper when we were just shit, not historically shit
  15. Realistically he should never step foot on the pitch for us again, he is absolutely ****ing useless
  16. Can't believe we are playing useless shite like Daka but won't give any opportunities to any of our exciting attackers in the academy, they literally could not be worse than him
  17. u18s lost 4-3 to Arsenal, were 3-0 and 4-1 down, scored twice in injury time to get it back to 4-3 Will Daniels scored twice, Canadian left back/left wing back/left mid from what I can see Hutchinson scored again (again in injury time) and got an assist as well, up to 10 goals for the season now, 8 goals and 2 assists in his last 7 games Another benefit of giving Evans some time in the first team squad would be giving Hutchinson a chance to be involved with the u21s
  18. U18s 1-0 down to Arsenal at the moment 14 year old Darren Motsi on the bench, has impressed with England u15s recently scoring and assisting against Turkey last month
  19. as you say that they have gone 4-3 up in the 90th minute Although I wouldn't be surprised to see it finish 4-4 still
  20. I've always said this, against West Ham we had Okoli and Coady on the bench and also both Winks and Skipp, Winks and Skipp are basically the exact same player and it just seems completely pointless to have both on there. How many times do we really need to sub on 2 centre backs in a game. There is never really an excuse to not be having an academy graduate on the bench, it should be a point of pride to be giving opportunities to them and showing that there is a route, we aren't expecting them to throw half the u18s side into the starting lineup, but at least be giving them chances. We have lost 11 of our last 12 games scoring 4 and conceding 31. It's not like giving academy players 30 minutes here and there is going to reduce the quality much, we are already absolute dross
  21. Finished 4-3, Lorenz Hutchinson scored the 4th in added time, still time for Brighton to get it back to 4-3 even later in added time though
  22. U18s are 3-1 up at halftime away to Brighton Aideed, Akolbire, and Owusu with the goals
  23. It's the predictably bad decisions that are the criminal ones. People mentioning Kaputska and Benkovic, I have no issue with those kind of signings, taking a punt on a high potential youngster, yeah it didn't work out but the process is fine. It's the Choudhury/James/Vestegaard/Insert whatever other dumb contract extensions we have given out, that are the biggest issues for me, at the time everyone knew they were bad decisions. Everyone knew Ward wasn't good enough to be first choice, it was obvious that we needed to strengthen in January in both seasons when we finished 5th, it was obvious that Rodgers' race was run and he should have been sacked months before he finally was. If any randomer on here could see these being bad decisions then it is absolutely scandalous that the DoF was unable to
  24. Played about 350 minutes in the league all season, last started December 14th, hasn't played a minute since rejecting the bid and hasn't even made the bench in the last 2 games Club is clueless in so many aspects it's beyond a joke
