Decided to look back through his numbers after the mention of his record when starting games from earlier in the thread If I counted it right then he has 15 goals and 10 assists in his last 35 starts in all competitions. Also has 38 goals and 21 assists in 6,019 minutes in all competitions over the past 4 seasons. That is a goal contribution every 102 minutes over the equivalent of about 2 seasons worth of minutes. To compare with some other players in all competitions. Salah has a goal contribution every 98 minutes over the last 2 seasons (8,822 minutes) (65 goals and 25 assists) Kane has a goal contribution every 95 minutes over the last 2 seasons (8,760 minutes) (65 goals and 27 assists) Son has a goal contribution every 108 minutes over the last 2 seasons (8,013 minutes) (46 goals and 28 assists) Mane has a goal contribution every 144 minutes over the last 2 seasons (7,657 minutes) (39 goals and 14 assists) Vardy has a goal contribution every 129 minutes over the last 2 seasons (6,079 minutes) (34 goals and 13 assists) KDB has a goal contribution every 105 minutes over the last 2 seasons (6,922 minutes) (30 goals and 36 assists) I know it isn't a perfect comparison with it being 4 seasons vs 2 seasons, but that was the only way to get relatively close regarding total minutes. It blows my mind that he isn't used more, especially when you consider the fact he is still only 25 and has had a hugely impressive goals/assists per minute record for his entire career. His total career numbers are 10,734 minutes, 69 goals and 37 assists if you take out u23/u21 games. That is a goal contribution every 99 minutes for his entire career. We should be looking at ways to play him and one other in a 2 up front. Daka and Vardy are far too similar, they make the same runs and occupy the same spaces, it should be Nacho + 1 of them or even Barnes if you like.

Woke up hoping for some good news, instead hit with the knowledge he is somehow still employed by the club, farcical at this point, Top needs to finally grow a pair and show him the door.
-
don't know if you don't try, Union Berlin are clearly in a better spot in terms of challenging for European spaces and a European campaign. Money talks though and we could give him a huge pay rise without it even coming close to what we are spending on the cowboy currently

As others have mentioned, Urs Fischer is the one, copied this over from reddit Was successful in Switzerland with Zurich, Thun and finally 2 league titles with Basel Took over Union Berlin in division 2, promoted losing only 5 games that season 3 full seasons in the Bundesliga and has finished 11th, 7th and 5th improving each season. Currently 4th, unbeaten after 6 games, have already beaten Leipzig this season and drawn with Bayern. Only spent £43 million over the 4 seasons and has a net profit of about +£9 million in that time. His teams can actually defend, conceded 33 in 34 in division 2, the lowest by 9 goals. 58 in 34 in first season in the Bundesliga, not great but that was firmly mid table for goals conceded. Cut that to 43 in 34 in the 2nd season, which was the 4th best in the league and better than both Dortmund and Bayern. Last season 44 in 34, 3rd best in the league and better than Dortmund again. Has regularly lost key players and not broken stride despite it, lost 2 regular starters after promotion. Starting keeper and top scorer of the past 2 seasons in the 2nd season. Top scorer and 2 other regular starters in the 3rd season. Top 2 scorers last season. He regularly uses a 3412 which we have the players to pull off and his contract expires in the summer so the compensation won't be much. Union Berlin also have one of the lowest wage bills in the Bundesliga so I can't imagine he is on much, especially compared to the money we are paying out currently.

Ward wasn't even good when he played his 1 season of professional football in the championship half a decade ago Unsurprisingly he hasn't improved whilst sitting on his arse for 5 years

Is there anybody that can give any argument, any argument whatsoever in defence of keeping this absolute clown employed for even a single day longer? There is literally nothing. He is tactically inept. Every single game he makes some mind bogglingly idiotic substitution or tactical change, often multiple per game. Just about every single player has regressed under him, Maddison pretty much the only exception. Transfers have been for the most part terrible since him and his cronies became more involved in recruitment. He is too up his own backside to admit he is wrong ever or take any responsibility for his continuous mistakes. He is patronising and oblivious in every single media appearance. He has alienated player after player. The players have absolutely no motivation whatsoever anymore, it is his job to get them fired up, he is incapable. We are a mentally weak team and have been getting weaker and weaker, how many games have we thrown away the lead in? Or conceded in injury time? I think it is 4 times since the start of last season we have thrown away a 2-0 lead, which is especially impressive seen as we haven't exactly done much leading in that time. He has done absolutely nothing that gives me any reason to believe he can turn this around, there are no reasons to be optimistic or positive whilst he remains at the club. I am not even that upset anymore, I am just apathetic, he has managed to drain out any enjoyment I have following this club. I am absolutely convinced that any number of random posters from this forum could do a better job managing this side right now.

Good decision to put his name in quotation marks, I too am beginning to think he is simply a work of fiction, or at the very least an incorporeal being seen as he is incapable of stopping anything
-
At this point I'm happy to give it a go I don't have a clue what I am doing but neither does the poison dwarf in charge now and at least I'd be a lot cheaper
-
Anybody that is still backing this absolute cowboy is wilfully supporting the demise of this club, he has absolutely no clue, the players couldn't care less anymore, he is literally incapable of making an effective change during a game, he is too far up his own arse to admit he is wrong about anything and persists with bad decisions because he is unable to ever admit to being wrong. Every aspect of this man's reputation is a complete and utter myth, I've never seen a manager so allergic to giving opportunities to youth, he is a terrible man manager, our transfer business has taken a steep decline since he came in, and the football itself is making me long for the days of Puelball. Every day he is still employed by this club as a day too long, he should have been gone at the start of the summer, we have been dire for 18 months now, this isn't some new development

Been having a quick look through past few seasons to see any managers that seem to be having success, found a few interesting ones although I don't know enough about their playstyles to know how well they would fit Obviously Pochettino would be a dream hire but I feel he is probably out of reach. Gasperini has worked wonder at Atalanta but had a bit of a down year last season so could maybe be persuaded to come, they have no European football this year so that wouldn't be an obstacle Potter is an obvious choice and has really got Brighton moving in the right direction, similar story with Thomas Frank, although not quite as impressive as Potter in my opinion. Unai Emery is another obvious name, reputation in England is a bit tainted by his poor spell at Arsenal but he has won 4 Europa leagues and has a runner up too, also made the Champions League semi finals last season. Another that might be tough to tempt but might fancy another shot at the Prem after his disappointment last time. Arne Slot looks impressive at Feyenoord, has taken them back into Europe and had a great run in the conference league last season Urs Fischer was mentioned above but has improved year on year with Union Berlin, turned them from a 2nd division side to a team competing for Europe and pushing for Champions League spots, done this with a negative net spend in that time and whilst losing key players most seasons, started strong again this season despite losing their top scorer from last season, 10 points from 4 games, already beaten Leipzig and smashed Schalke 6-1 yesterday. Kjetil Knutsen has had incredible success with Bodo Glimt, both domestically and in Europe, similar story with adapting to losing key players regularly, their title win a couple of season ago was as dominant as it gets. Untested at a higher level though so would be a bit of a risk, although he hasn't exactly struggled in Europe. Franck Haise is another name already mentioned but has done a great job with Lens, back to back 7th place finishes after promotion from the 2nd divison. Only a couple of points off of European qualification and improved points, goals scored and goals conceded from season 1 to 2. Has a 1-2-1 record vs PSG over those 2 seasons and has put together lengthy unbeaten runs at the business end of both seasons. Julien Stephan took over Strasbourg last summer and took them from 15th the previous season to 6th last season, only 3 points off of a European place. Before that he was at Rennes, took over mid season in 18/19 when they were sat in 14th, steadied the ship to finish 10th and won the Coupe de France beating Lille and Lyon along the way and PSG in the final. Improved to 3rd the following season and qualified for Europe before having a poor 9th place finish in his final season with them. Oliver Glasner is the Frankfurt manager, only finished 11th in the league last season but was distracted by a successful Europa League winning run, including knocking out Barcelona over 2 legs. Had a top 4 finish with Wolfsburg before joining Frankfurt and had a good success back in Austria to start his managerial career, got LASK promoted before finishing 4th and then 2nd in their first 2 seasons. Imanol Alguacil has done a decent job at Sociedad, 6th, 5th, 7th and 9th place finishes over the past 4 seasons. Won the Copa del Rey in 19/20 to bring Sociedad their first major trophy in 33 years. Steffen Baumgart took over a Koln side that had just finished 16th and only stayed up via the relegation play-off and took them to a 7th place finish and a conference league spot. Before that he took over a Paderborn side that were 18th in the German 3rd division. First season took them to a 2nd place finish and promotion to the 2nd division, followed that up with another 2nd place finish in their first season in the league and gained promotion to the Bundesliga for only the 2nd time in club history. They struggled badly and went straight back down and followed it up with a disappointing midtable finish back in the 2nd division though.

what sort of price would we be looking at mate? and what sizes are available?
-
Do you have any sellers on DHgate that you would recommend as reliable and safe? Also any information on sizing from any of the sellers would be helpful too! Like are they true to UK sizes or how off are they? Cheers!

My dad took his own life back in 2012, from 2002-12 we were season ticket holders together, he had been going to games since he was a boy back in the 70s. He has missed so much since but I think today would be the one that would have meant the most to him.
