Leeds post match thread - 0-1 loss
studentofthegame replied to jim5000's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ahh well, we were poor, still unlucky not to score though Can't win every game and still 11 clear of them Maresca really needs to work out what is going on with his subs though, 5 subs available and probably the strongest bench the league has ever seen and he just doesn't use them effectively, Vardy and Casadei should have both been off at half time Fatawu and Mavididi had their full backs on toast and then we just stopped giving them the ball to run at the them -
How the **** is Casadei still on the pitch, been dreadful and just stood still and watched for the goal
-
Casadei has been woeful here, sooner we get him off the better

The "do they mean us?" thread pt 4

basically whoever wrote it had heard of Meslier before this season but not heard of Mads, so on that basis came to the conclusion that Meslier had more potential -

Great result that is, Fulham won 5/'5 going into tonight -
Come on, you can't try and blame him for that one Doyle had an absolute howler and is 100% at fault, is Vestegaard running faster going to make Doyle not walk past the ball?
-
I have no idea who is off on international duty honestly! I just can't imagine many have impressed enough in the past 12 months to be in demand for their national teams
-
Southampton had an even worse result than us at least, they are spending 2 weeks stewing on getting absolutely tonked
-
It is definitely going to take time and honestly, 6 wins out of 7 so far this season is probably more than we deserve with some of the performances we have put in so far, if we had lost the opening game and then won the last 6 on the bounce then everybody would be buzzing I think this international break is actually at a good time for us, the squad is finalised, new signings in, chance to reintegrate some of the outcasts if Enzo wants to, 2 weeks to drill the system into them, if we come back after the break without looking any more fluid and comfortable then I would begin to get a little concerned though

LCFC 0 - 1 Hull Post Match Thread
studentofthegame replied to Daggers's topic in Leicester City Forum
We didn't deserve anything from the game and I really can't imagine we would have scored anyway, but 3 minutes injury time is a disgrace, should have been closer to 10 than 3 -
I think he is a great player but should definitely be dropped for a game or two, especially with Maresca seeming to drop players to make a point about poor performances, got to be consistent with it as nobody is undroppable if they aren't performing The biggest annoyance for me has been him taking too many pot shots that are nowhere near going in
-
It's the off the ball movement that I love, I think it is the key to what Manchester City do, everybody is always moving Under Rodgers it was so stagnant, everybody just stood still and watched, this already looks so much better
-
Just please start Iheanacho, that is all I ask

Favourite players throughout your City years
studentofthegame replied to OnlyOneCity's topic in Leicester City Forum
Only been following since 2003 ish but Andy King is my all time favourite Leicester player Shout out to Iain Hume and Joey Gudjohnsson for making those early years more bearable -
Think this is the one I am most gutted to see leave Probably saddest player to see go since Mahrez He is definitely too good for the Championship but hoped he might stay for a year to get us back up
-
My personal favourites rather than best players has to be Weale Berner Taggart McAuley Fuchs Cambiasso Nalis Guðjónsson Albrighton Nugent Dyer
-
Well yes, technically anything is possible However I firmly believe keeping him massively increases the chances we get promoted Also we would get a fee way less than his actual value due to only having a year left on his contract I mean, if someone comes in with £50 million for him then sure, but realistically the offers are going to be around 10-15
-
Because he will absolutely demolish the Championship and getting promoted year 1 is more valuable than the 15 mil or whatever we would end up getting for him Also **** forest
-
Would actually rather keep him and lose him for free than sell him to them
-
Need to get on the phone and offer him Ward, sure he will jump at the chance to be reunited with his one and only true love
-
Really disappointing to be honest, been shit for 18 months, stopped putting any effort in and then ends up back in the same position he was when he decided to start running his contract down It feels like one of those situations where nobody really wins, we lose a player that had decent value for nothing after he dropped off a cliff performance wise, Villa sign a player on, I imagine, pretty high wages that isn't really an upgrade on what they have, Tielemans ends up back where he was before downing tools and has significantly tarnished his reputation both with our fans and overall with the general public
