I don’t know much about Pereira but Moyes is a way better manager than Rudd or Martin. Both had way better squads to work with. The real issue the squad is not good enough and the club keep going after shit managers Martin is predictably the next on the list. A lot of good managers do that (not saying he is good), I remember Pearson doing it with some of Svens players, some don’t have the mentality, some need bringing down, some need structure. It takes time to put in place all of these structure and have effect, Pearson did achieve it overnight. I certainly don’t think Martin who will likely bring back Winks and Vestaguard is going to be great either, I’m sick of players that treat the club as a holiday camp.

Well Rudd has never managed in there he might storm it. Martin can 4th in a 3 horse race got spanked 5-0 by us and Sunderland plus a few other piss weak mentality. It’s just a waste of PSR cash we don’t have, a sideways move to sack Rudd and replace with Martin. I don’t see him doing any better.

I don’t think Martin is a good fit at all unless you want to keep doing the same with the same crap. We need someone strong to come in and sort this mess out, give us some fight and mental strength. We need another mentality weak tippy tappy manager like a hole in the head.

Point is he ISNT any better, that’s seems to be the logic our bard is working with and it has absolutely no basis. What makes him better? Nothing. I agree they are both clown managers but replacing one with the other is pointless. If we are going to go through the process we need to bring in an upgrade. If you aren’t concerned by bringing in a manager our piss weak mentality team destroyed 4-1, 5-0, 3-2 and 2-0 in recent years then that’s unreal too.

And Martins Southampton were on track to be the worst team ever points wise. Like honestly we need to be bringing in someone better or not bother, I think that’s the main point here.

The proposed replacement is a guy who got 9 points. The real answer is probably neither but the point is if you are going to replace Rudd with Martin why bother?

And Southampton are record breakingly bad, they actually improved after Martin left, so arguably if he stays they comfortably take Derbys record. Rudd has his problems but this is honestly a pointless waste of PSR cash, you are replacing like for like.

Well I assure you Martin will not get us promoted, I call it now if we employ him we will be a long way behind Ipswich, Southampton, Sheffield Utd, Wrexham, Birmingham, Coventry for starters probably a few others too. Rudd would have a better chance if backed properly with King and Barry Murphy of getting us back up. I can see if we employ this charlatan that come November/December we need to sack him but don’t have the money, leading us to drop towards the bottom 3, the ground will be empty.

Come on Russell Martin of 12 points Southampton doesn’t even deserve to clean Claudios boots, they are on different planets, Claudio is a gentleman who has achieved much in the game, Martin is a fraud who built a piss weak tippy tappy team to almost beat Derbys record.
