  1. Can you really implement style and identity with players you haven’t chosen, who may not be good enough or the right type of player for the style or identity you want? It’s particularly difficult when you have been using Coopers coaching staff for a good few months. In short it’s been a cluster ****, mainly on the clubs part but perhaps Rudd was naive to accept under such crap conditions. You need at least a window to have a fair crack at it. You can’t really stamp too much on a team you haven’t had any influence in building.
  2. He shouldn’t be made to fear for his safety but to be fair if I was so shit at my job I felt unsafe if probably quit!
  3. Well it is if we spend ages dithering and miss all the decent options, thats my point the club needs to act quickly and decisively as soon as the season ends. If we are waiting around until the end of June thats going to be a huge error.
  4. See this is the kind of thing that happens when the incompetent clowns at the club fanny around, dont make a decision wait until June 30th due to PSR, then scramble around trying to install a manager before pre-season and then end up with someone like Martin who is even more dogshit than what we have now just with 6-9 months less knowledge! We will see manager after manager get snapped up whilst our lot are off horse racing.
  5. Is it a diamond in the rough or a massive noose around the neck?
  6. Danny Ward is feeling neglected!
  7. Except they didn't and couldn't despite spunking 100 million, what a job McKenna has done, starboi!
  8. I dont think McKenna is as good as people are making out. Hes spent 100 million this year and still got beat by us. A manager that spends 100 million on players should be beating a 'crap manager' dead rubber or not. Rudd has never been in league 1 or the Championship to win it so we don't know, you don't know! chances are he probably would as any old shit like Mckenna, Martin, Farke, Parker can. So Thomas, McAteer, Monga and Evans aren't young attacking players?!? okkk then Dyche is probably the best of the bunch of names, he did a good job playing Dycheball the Burnleh way, and moaning about other teams having more money. Is his style what we need right now, is he good at bringing through young players, did he do well at Everton, all err no. Always a cracker to bring out the troll and thick trope when you disagree...class well done. Much like people thinking Martin would be a better option, or Manning who got spanked 6-0 by Sheffield ****ing United
  9. With squads they built or in McKennas case spunked 100 million on pretty average looking championship players that got beaten by Rudd, or Martins case made a side so piss weak in mentality even our piss weak mentality players have been able to turn it over 4 times in the last 2 seasons! Once by Rudd I mean Dyche is the best of a bad bunch if you want to head down that route fair enough, but its certainly not young exciting attacking players you are ever going to be seeing.
  10. Yes McKenna who has spent 100 million plus this year, and just lost to a side coached by Rudd, and came out with some nonsense post match they were the better side! Delusional. Dyche to my knowledge has never been thrown into a club with no coaching staff, shit players who fundamentally cant defend. Last year Everton went 11 games without a win with a much better squad than we have. He is not exactly renowned for goals either 0.85 per game at Everton again with a much better squad. We couldnt score as previously posted because we over compensated have a shit squad that cant defend by putting more shit players in to help the other shit players who cant defend defend, this was to the detriment of the attack who also weren't particularly good. The foundation for any team is the ability not to concede 3 or 4 goals a game. Even if we accepted we were going to concede 3-4 goals we would never have scored enough to win, so you can understand a manager might try whatever possibilities he has in his sack of shit to try and sure things up. Has Dyche ever managed someone else squad with no windows, none of his own coaches? no defenders that can defend. Im not sure he has, you gotta compare like for like.
  11. I give you Russell Martin, Manning and Dyche or that bloke at Ipswich McKenna who Rudd just beat...
  12. It is especially when you allow the likes of Chelsea to blatantly subvert the rules by selling hotels, and women's teams. There is a danger the league eats itself as really the big six don't have a viable entertainment product without the other clubs competing. I suppose many will look towards the number of teams competing for the champions league spaces as a success. I actually think the issue is between the bottom half of the Premier League and Championship, like I honestly don't see who goes down next year? Someone would have to have a complete circus show like us, they squad quality of say Wolves, Palace, Everton, West Ham, Brighton, Bournemouth, Fulham etc is just streets ahead of any of the promoted teams.
  13. Spot on! Its good to see that others get it, we have been trying to overcompensate for shite defenders by playing shite players that offered more defensively statistically, unfortunately those players also are also shite, hence we are shite and get shite results, we still cant defend and as a result of playing shite players to help the defence also cant score because we took some of the attacking players out. Its pretty basic! There is not much you can do as a manager with that squad imo. Maybe he could have gone all out attack instead, but the problem is we aren't actually that good at attacking either. I don't really get how people cant see the issues We aren't very good. In recent weeks we have done well at Brighton, should have possibly gone 1-0 up against Liverpool, beat Southampton easily, drew at Forest (Could have snatched it in the end) and beat Ipswich fairly comfortably. (you know the team with the top class young manager who plays exciting football and SPENT 100 million! that one!)
  14. Well to be honest I agree, I was being 'fair' to the illusionists who think this team should be up there in my understatement. We are awful, which begs the question, HOW did anyone expect us to stay up? how can anyone say we should have won more games when we cant even defend to stay in games and the club did absolutely NOTHING in January to correct this despite knowing it? Top comes out in his notes saying he though this squad was good enough?! either he is thick, deluded, blind, stupid or very badly advised! or maybe all of them!
  15. I agree Facundo and Mavididi were under used, that said from the above hes tried to find solutions, it hasnt worked. In a few games I do remember Facundo and Mavididi having shockers too. Mavididi looked to come good toward the end, then got injured The worst outcome for me is that we dither on this, we piss around until June the 30th to comply with PSR, then sack Rudd, bringing someone in with no enough time to build and assess what he has available, especially if its someone shit like ANY of the names we have so far been linked with (Dyche, Martin, Manning). Then only one I would take now is Rohl, if we want him we need to act sharp.
  16. Surely Top and co have done that by appointing Cooper, signing shit players?!? I must have missed the bit where Cooper got a tune out of them. We've been fecking shite all year. I dont know, with a defence consisting of Wout Faes, Vestagaurd, Kristensen, Justin, Coady, Okoli, collectively NONE of them can defend wel land consistently. If you cant stop goals going in you aint gonna win points, thats been our single biggest issue, if you cant keep it tight, you are gonna struggle. Its the SAME SHIT defence that got us relegated last time, if anything slightly worse, with the rest of the team also being slightly worse whilst the rest of the league has developed due to having I dont know maybe a competent senior management team and DOF with a plan, an identity, not just a PE teacher running his version of Butlins - badly. NOONE cant teach Faes or any of the other shit ***** to defend and not have brain farts at key pressure moments, its just NOT in them. Add that to the fact that we havent replaced or even helped Vardy meaning he been playing up to on his own all year (Bringing in a bloke Edouard who has done the square root of FOOK ALL). The midfield is not creative, or supportive enough for the defence, we've lacked pace. Yes there have been errors on some players but at the end of the day Rudd has beaten everyone's hero Mckenna probably someone half the numpties here would have at the club in a heartbeat. Whichever way you luck at this team, this club it was always going to struggle, that added with the absolute nonsense that is PSR making the gap bigger each year bar a team 'doing at Leicester' and getting some incompetent bellend to run the club. How anyone can set that lot as a squad in the Premier League and believe they are collectively good enough is beyond me. There is some talent there but mentality wise this group of players is piss weak and that has to be changed. The club has had about 5 years to replace Vardy and failed, what does that tell you about those running the show and the level of competence they might have in ANY decision.
  17. Suppose it depends on the definition of 'not bad' We might go up and down a few times, we may play something entertaining at times and we may have the odd good player who gets snapped up by the greedy 6 for a period. Will we ever compete and win trophies or even be a stable top 10 Premier League club again? not likely unless someone very astute is put into the senior positions at the club.
  18. I’m mean we could be a draw if we didn’t have a 3rd rate PE teacher running football operations. Out of the options we’ve been linked with, just no really!
  19. It’s so true. People making out like there was a selection of this shit group of players that would have made significant difference. They all underperformed, and there are reasons why certain players didn’t get in at certain times, collectively we couldn’t defend, we had games where Faes was awful, Okoli awful, Vestaguard awful, Coady Awful, Justin and Kristansen were awful. The midfield offered little protection and little going forward , Ndidi says he was concentrating too much on getting forward but I must have missed that bit, Soumare is awful, Skipp meh, Winks awful, Mavididi had a number of games where he looked like he had gone on holiday, Facundo I like the effort of but he can give the ball away ALOT and try to do it all, so I can see he may annoy some folk, Bilal has been trying to do a lot himself. Honestly I’m not sure what you can do with that, it’s basically a championship squad and we’ve not lost to the Championship teams and a few others, realistically it’s where we are at with the squad assembled by our blessed Rudkin. The biggest issue we had was in games against Brentford, Palace, Wolves, Everton, the defenders had basic brain farts when we needed to keep it tight and frustrate. The fundamentals are a strong defence to build from, I’m finding quite hard to believe many people could get this defence to keep many clean sheets, Southampton and Ipswich aside.
  20. Sadly the club will never have another era like that. Something aligned, we ****ed it up and now we are back where we started yo-yoing and I suspect if the club piss around until June 30th as I expect due to PSR and then bring in a half wit like Dyche or Martin, who will not have enough time to build and fans will want sacking by December as immediate change and success is expected now, we will probably have a good 10 years or so away from the top division .
  21. Are bellends selling flags too? Saw loads of absolute halfwits collecting 30 flags and some stealing honesty flags. Really what are you gonna do with them all? Bit ****ing weird for adults if you ask me.
  22. On the evidence so far we don’t know, he hasn’t been given a transfer window, he’s trying to work with other people’s shite sinings. He’s done a better job that McKenna who spent over 100 million, better job than Martin who’s Southampton side were piss weak. Yes we have been poor but I honestly think he’s been working with a shit sandwich, especially having Coopers crap coaches till late December. We have no evidence that any of the other people we’ve so far been linked with are going to do any better. People criticise the results against Ipswich and Southampton but it’s 2 wins they haven’t got, 2 wins against teams we are going to be competing with again next year. We are a championship standard team and we haven’t lost against our championship competitors, at this stage we can’t ask for more. I remember our fans saying they saw nothing in O’Neill after so many games, I remember people hating on big Nige in the great escape season when he told fan to **** off and die. Change doesn’t happen overnight, realistically it doesn’t happen in 6 months, it doesn’t happen in 9. It needs preseasons, windows, teams being built. People saying he should have played the youngsters, I get that as an emotional feeling but it might not be right for 2 young lads doing exams etc, playing until recently in every development to be chucked into the squad. I’d actually say the way he had handled these young players has been spot on. I also like the rooting out of the wrong kind of attitude, he’s brought in Kasey, Thomas who have done well. At times today and the last few games there has been good patterns of play and today we showed a grit not to concede or get beaten that I haven’t seen in a while. Unless someone can give me a really compelling name, that the club have heard of I’m struggling to think replacing with Dyche, Martin or Manning would be anything but a massive mistake.
  23. Never will we have a player so great and so loyal again. A true legend, a total privilege to have seen him and success that the club is unlikely to see again in my lifetime. It’s a great shame the legacy of 2016 is destroyed. That said time to rebuild and try again. We must make decisions quickly to put the club in the best position to move on, no fannying around till June 30th.
  24. Tbf he could be very good in the championship bearing in mind most teams are doggo. Cov and Sunderland were 2 of the top 6 and both are comfortably more shite than us.
  25. Problem is NONE of the names we’ve been linked with are any better, it’s just wasting money we should be spending on player. If we sack Rudd and bring in some shit like Dyche, Martin or Manning, fecking stupid back to square 1 again. None of them would create a ‘buzz’ going into the new season I find it unlikely the club employ anyone who does.
