  1. Get Mavididi off.
  2. Have a last min spare adult ticket due to trains. Would need to meet outside the ground at about 12.10 if anyone wants it.
  3. One last min spare for tomorrow, would need to meet outside the ground before the game. Message if interested. Now gone
  4. One thing I really don’t like is the undertone coming from a noticeable number of fans that really don’t seem to be bothered about the result and seem to prefer a cheap laugh from their mates at the expense of the club. This has been noticeable for a while now, ‘We’ve got the ball/we’ve lost the ball’ while at 0-0 at Arsenal really resonated with me. Today was obviously completely unacceptable, but the defeatist atmosphere from the support was just as bad imo.
  5. Exactly this, the whole thing feels more like a box-ticking exercise to make current standing areas legal, rather than improving the atmosphere/fan experience. They’re going to go big on the fact they’ve listened to the fans by creating the survey & holding meetings. Despite the overwhelming majority on the call being pro-larger safe standing areas, nearly every comment from Jim was a pushback. One of the concerns was from a lady who sits in J2. Would be interesting to know if they think the overall ‘pr’ of the singing section is positive or negative.
  6. That point was put to them. They’re honestly more concerned that they’d have large areas of the standing section that would be unsold, rather than having more people want to move into standing areas, which shows just out of touch they are. If they go with the approach that I think they will, it’s not going to help the atmosphere at all, which is surely the main aim of standing sections. Sounded like they’re going to cop out and completely miss the opportunity to do it properly which is infuriating.
  7. Disappointing meeting on teams this evening. Sounds like the club are favouring a ‘phased-approach’ starting with small areas that are already standing (singing section & L1). Despite Jim saying on many occasions that nothing has been decided, it sounds like a full kop end is out of the question because of the difficulty relocating people/‘bad pr’ it caused when creating the singing section, as well as the apparent poor uptake in that area. The more people that fill out the survey & get their thoughts to the club before the deadline on the 23rd the better.
  8. Was due to work tomorrow but that’s no longer the case, so if anyone has 1 last minute spare it would be greatly appreciated! Happy to pick up in Leicester or London, thanks in advance!
  9. Was decent today but ‘never win at home, never win away’ needs binning asap. It’s not funny, you’re a moron if you join in with it.
  10. For anyone who wasn’t there today, or has never been to Coventry city centre I’d highly recommend you make the trip! It makes you realise how lucky we are to live where we do compared to a cesspit like that. *our city is a lot better than there’s!
  11. One spare due to illness. Available to pick up in LE3. Face value obviously. Now Gone
