Playing devil's advocate here - could he mean he doesn't understand PSR in the sense it seems to be one rule for one and one rule for another (See Man City) with countless loop holes that even we managed to find?

I'd imagine we're about 1/5 then not to be relegated which is highly likely so not sure of the point of the post.
Also I don't believe it's a common thought where people don't think it's a possibility.
It's been pretty much mentioned on here for months that it could happen.

I'm not making this up. I've got an eye issue where I've got pretty bad light sensitivity so got all my phone on dark mode and an app to lower brightness past what android can.
Was scrolling down and those trainers have just caused excruciating pain! Had to quicky scroll on!

Don't get this putting Nigel upstairs stuff. He needs to be swanning around the ground floors with his ice whites.

Do we offer it to Vardy as player manager next year? Sneaky way of getting a bags man in too.

What the hell was going on there? I bunkered down for the 30 mins and with some of the worse editing I've ever witnessed it cut to Matty Fryatt out of the blue. Learned absolutely nothing as normal, only cementing the Top hasn't got a clue.
Hilarious when he kind of backed Marti in it too!
The one thing I could possibly take from it is it sounds like we might be able to muster a few million for a striker, which is annoying as there's value out there and we're most likely going to blow it on a Jordan Ayew type.
I'm not sure what the rest of the interview holds, but it doesn't look good because if the team have gave us that 1/3 of the interview and that's meant to wet our appetite for next bits then I can imagine it's going to be s**t.
Owynn again shying away from the real questions that could be delivered in a way that isn't too personal - such as "some may say/ask that.." but no, same old rubbish questions that we are only going to get answers that we learn nothing from.

I raise you Craig Levein.
Yeah I remember on here it was bedlam when we were trying to get him sacked. Felt so long and drawn out that one.

Will go down as one of the most uninspiring managers ever which isn't easy after some of the trash over the years...

If he cares about LCFC as much as people think and hope and doesnt want to be another Top yes man then thsts what he should do
Doesn't seem like his personality to do that. Back his boss and then implement his own ideas when he's gone is the best we can hope for.

As much as Kingy might be a club legend and a great servant he was there with Ruud and there now...not exactly making improvements is he?
Difficult if you don't have total control. Marti is so fundamentally wrong it would take Kingy telling him some home truths which I don't think he would be able to do without falling out.

I wouldn't be against giving him a few games to see if he can get a reaction and make his mark, but ask me now full time job then no.

Can’t wait for another shielded Top interview with one of his LCFCTV yes men that can’t say anything at all pressing to their boss whilst we sit here wondering why Poundland Pep is still here. Probably saved his job by blaming the fans.
Is this interview not with Owynn? Hope he grows a pair and gives him a proper grilling. Pre-recorded I bet though...

Top never does interviews which suggests he's sacked him?

Remember Nigel Pearson after a home defeat against Crystal Palace in the 2014 / 2015 season fans and the media were getting on at him and boy did he stand up to both. The rest well.we know what happened after that. God how we could do with him now.
Was that the 'delusions of grandeur' episode?
I remember listening it live on the radio at the time and falling in love with the man even more as he was completely right.
A lot of fans getting above their station at the time and needed a check.

How did he do in his last job?
Appalling after leaving Sunderland!
Think he lasted about 5 months at WBA!
He was diagnosed with bowel cancer before taking the job at WBA and that will have taken a toll on him.
Still would take him though.
-
If he's saying that you can see why we're in this mess.
He should be screaming at them at HT about letting the fans down and understand these cretins are ultimately going to get him sacked.
"YOU KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO PLAY FOR THIS CLUB AND BADGE!!!!!!?-
WELL IF YOU DON'T ILL HOOK YOU NOW AND YOU WONT PLAY AGAIN!!!"

Tony Mowbray for me.
Did an absolutely amazing job at Sunderland getting rid of spoilt brats and focusing on youth playing exciting football.
Exactly what we need and can back it up with actions not words.

...and why do we never do a board vote of confidence statement that usually always signals an imminent sacking?
Top is taking the p*ss with his interview banging on about more communication. If anything there has been less since it and the only thing taken from it is confirmation that it's definitely not him writing the programme notes with his awful English!
You'd have thought if you were going to concentrate on improving communication with the fans it would be a staged and planned process.
Stage 1 - address the fans with an interview.
Stage 2 - do A B and C to back the interview up with real evidence the club are trying to be more transparent.
Stage 3 - gauge fan happiness with new ways of working and adjust where necessary.
We haven't done stage 2 or 3. We've Just done a terrible interview and then back to the way things were - no... Wait... even worse than before!
What multi-million pound business would ever operate like this?!
Incredible.

Haven’t heard it yet but refreshing to find an ex player who isn’t afraid to speak his mind.
I loved Elliott and Taggart as players, but can’t stand them on Foxes Hub, both too afraid to say anything remotely critical about the players, the management or the ownership.
I guess they would lose their jobs if they did articulate what we as fans can all see, sad but true.
Which is even more important that the local media grows some and calls him out.
See some of the interviews by the Rangers media before Brussell Martin got the chop! That's how it's done!

Tell you what Fryatt in his prime is exactly what we are missing in this team. Absolute goal machine on his day.
Wasn't as quick as Daka or as strong as Ayew but he knew where that goal was.

I created a "Marti Out" topic back in September (I think) when it seemed I was the true minority and it was instantly deleted.
I journelled all my thoughts and reasons back then and it's horrible when people delete things as I'd like to remember what I said.
If you still have access @Mark could you be kind enough to PM it me or add to the bottom of here?

I haven't even heard the interview yet so will listen after work.
