You need a experienced DOF with footballing nouse to do that while it's easy to sell players like KDH who are wanted by teams

Look I think it's great that Skipp has joined Leicester, he's been talked about for a few years on the Spurs forum as a up and coming player....but I think 25m is is a lot for a Spurs academy player who''s untested in the Premier League....is be happy if we'd paid 10m max for him but we've left it aday before we've got our first EPL game

Totally agree, the great escape sowed the seeds for the premier league title win, watching the game today any positives was lost seeing players shouting at other players because their passing was so sh*t and more importantly they couldn't be arsed they were all just turning their backs to each other

It's baffling that we aren't progressing in our academy players compared to other clubs, really liked how Liverpool in their summer friendlies have nicely slotted in their youngsters and given them a chance

Yup saw the end of their friendly against Bayern today and even through they lost 2-3 they still looked slick and could have scored afew more goals. The players looked fresh and eager to playing direct fast football.....while ours today looked like they've just figuring out how to play a new sport

Sad thing is clubs once considered lower than us in the Premier League afew years are now seen as better run clubs who have found up and coming managers who are playing exciting football that their fans love and don't mind spending 30m each on numerous players while the media doesn't even consider us worthy to talk about

Biggest mistake king power made was believing that the success of winning the Premier League was partly because of the DOF Rudkin, when most of the credit should have gone to Steve Walsh and his recruitment team. We've got experienced players but again they can't be arsed and looked like they couldn't be bothered, just a nice overseas trip for them. Would love not given contract extensions to Hamza and Ndidi and somehow got rid of Justin who looks like a nothing player and never have signed some of the players this summer. Bobby Ried looks like a Sunday league player and 15m for Okoli 🙄
