  1. Massive respect for Haaland for having a normal, non drama queen reaction to Gabriel. Sad that it wasn’t punished with a red, makes officials look foolish.

Make no mistake if it’s the other way around Gabriel is on the floor rolling around in tears for a good few minutes.

That's like saying you've taken a shit on your own bed but at least you've cleaned it up.

It's better if the first thing doesn't happen in the first place lol

That is a fair summary 🤣

That is exactly why we are where we are. It’s the players, they don’t care, don’t try hard enough. You can’t dial it in in any professional sport and expect to not be punished for it.

I have quite a bit of time for Rowett as a guy, he gets it. But has games haven’t been good enough so far. He has  4 games to put the right. Can’t see it happening.

I also like him, but it’s already over, would take a miracle for our shower to suddenly win all 4 games, and even if they did, there is a decent chance we’d still go down anyway

As an NJ resident and fan who feels priced out from attending the World Cup, I'm totally on board with this. IMO, Most of the hotel and tourist windfall will go to New York, while the stadium is in New Jersey and transportation is managed by a New Jersey rail service. Even though New Jersey Transit is not exactly loved (go and read about 2019 Wrestlemania at the same venue), the "World Cup will stimulate the economy" argument is not of concern to me, and is easily diminished when compared with the public dollars already being invested in it. More from the governor, here.

Yeah, locals should not be paying, FIFA make billions from the event, they should be able to support temporarily increasing transport to stadiums so that fans can safely travel in host nations.
