Scruffy 1-0 win is all we need

What we expected. If you're complaining it is boring I'm not really sure what else you were expecting . One team set up to win. One team set up to frustrate. Never going to be an exciting game Soon as we win the ball back we need to quicken the tempo and exploit any areas they have vacated and even a scruffy 1-0 win will do.

I really just don't see the fuss with Ipswich at all. Just a reasonable side that's punching above their weight but put them up against much better players that us and Leeds have and they simply can't handle it. They struggle against pace and directness. and with our wingers we will exploit them all day long.

I've said it before and I'm not just saying this as Leeds have gone ahead but I really don't think Ipswich are as good as people make out. We beat them comfortably.

Personally from what I've seen from Ipswich this season you can really get at them. They are a good side but have flaws Long as we defend well on boxing Day we beat them comfortably

Do you actually read what you put? Our chance creation first half was far superior than previous games yet we didn't take them. Second half we scored quick goals being ruthless in front of goal and effectively killed the game. They largely did not trouble us apart from our own doing and in the end it was a straight forward win. You come across as that everything from the first minute to the last minute should be absolutely perfect and football isn't like that. So what if we scored a goal that was a 70 yard pass or scored 3 goals in a 7 minute period which you simply can't seem to accept as it's 'not the norm'. We did and won the game at a canter. If we'd have won that 7-0 you would still find a way to be critical saying we should have won by 8 or 9. We've won the game. Top of league and keep marching on. Is it perfect no but in football it never is so simply just accept we are doing well instead of finds way to simply be critical for absolutely no reason.

I must be in a minority for this game. I've been calling our performances rubbish for most of this season but I actually think we've attacked really well just finishing has let us down We've cut them open and carved out a lot of great chances and really we should have scored 4 goals. It's just our finishing that let us down Considering how bad we have been at creating shots last few games this is a big improvement. As for the defence it's same old. They don't cut us open and it's mainly our own fault What we need to realise is most of our chance creation happen when we keep the ball at the back and draw them on so it comes hand in hand that eventually players will make mistakes, lose the ball and then we look like we are going to concede. It's classic case of risk v reward and being top of league we can't argue against it

We're the league leaders beating teams left right and centre. They're bottom of the league and they are largely on top and should really be out of sight. They've come with a game plan and we look rattled. They lack the quality but they've been the better side. You can't argue against that.

We've been poor but let's give Sheffield Wednesday some credit They've pressed winks and Ricardo relentlessly and forced us into a lot of mistakes. We've had some really poor performers notably vardy, coady and casadei who have been poor and way off it We lack steel in the midfield so changed needed at HT.

People seem to forget that modern day football isn't exciting. It hasn't been for awhile. Today's football style is more emphasis on possession and waiting for opportunities to present themselves than turning it into a basketball match. Even in the premier league teams score then have to wait for a VAR decision to find out if it is a legitimate goal or not. It's very rare now that games are high octane football and exciting. Entertainment has been sucked out of football yet people don't take a step back and think about that or our position or even the league. I've seen comments such as I wasn't on the edge of my seat , it's boring, yet here we find ourselves top of the league in a relentless league where games come thick and fast. Every single other championship team and fan of there teams would love to be in Leicester position yet some Leicester fans moan about it If you want to be entertained for every second of a football match perhaps modern day football simply isn't for you.
