Thomas so lucky to get the foul there
-
Skipps role in that probably gets checked with VAR. Great ball in.

See we've sacked off the Ricardo can't play mid week games now then. Whilst Jakub wasn't great after his injury, I'm not sure we gain anything with Begovic being in goal. Defence is honking, Lascelle another wise transfer.

Definition of a match winning innings from Brook. Now we can lose against a decent side in New Zealand and write it off as nit mattering. Good thing about T20 is that if you have one player have a good day you can win, but it would be nice to have 2 batters turn up for once. -

I don't think Root is a long term t20 answer but in these conditions, he needs to be in there. -

Lot of pressure on Curran and Jacks again. With this top order so unreliable, we probably another proper batsmen. -

Brill start. Salt really is feast or famine, literally no attempt to give it a ball or two. Brave call to bring Brook up the order when it's the first over. Maybe should've been Banton as a he's an opener. -

My point was, if we don't beat Norwich then a point here is next to useless. -

4 points minimum needed from this and Norwich. If could guarantee we beat Norwich then I'd 100% take a point tonight. -

It's amazing how many times you hear 'since they played Leicester' when talking about a team doing something -

This set piece stuff is ****ing awful, don't care how effective it is, it's a horrible look for football. -

Can't be disallowing goals for that, unless there is an angle I've not seen as I'm in the pub. He's facing the other way. They'll be some stupid small print that says it should be disallowed though I'm sure. -
Who'd have thought Lascelles would get injured.

Maybe harsh for the 2nd but the ball landing in the six yard box for both goals is poor from the keeper. -
I've enjoyed the curling in the past but found it a bit dull this time, and competition goes on a bit Find myself just wishing they'd hurry up and get to the last couple of stones in each end.

I hope its enough, and fair play to him really for taking until the end of the season. I'd be looking for at least 18 months. Probably being paid handsomely to accept that though. He has to get supporters on his side and galvanise the club.

And I work in Youth Employment Support in one of the most deprived areas of the UK, and have been officially told today that as of May our service will close due to lack of funding. Youth Hubs were funded through Town Deal and SPF, which were Conservative initiatives and appears to have not been followed up by the Labour government. Not ideal, but I can be re-deployed I think, but its disastrous news for young people in our area, particularly the 16-18 age group and young people not on benefits. The service as supported so many people and is the only option for anyone not in college.

Hoping that all the media stuff needs to be done but he has taken training yesterday and today.

Incredible innings. -
Going to give him something stupid like a 5 year contract aren't we 18 month at most for me
-
If you'd have told me, even 12 months ago, that we would be appointing Gary Rowett as manager and I'd be relatively happy with it, I would've laughed at you. Sums the club that we have wasted 3 league games waiting on choosing Gary Rowett

Maybe I'm not giving the bowlers enough credit for forcing errors, but from what I've seen of the tournament it's been a lot of batters just slapping it in the air straight to a fielder. Rank deliveries get the wickets in this format. -

Going to make this difficult again aren't they. Not learning from the other day again, put the sweep shot away. Top order exposing the middle order far too early.
