Don't normally mind Shearer on comms but he's definitely fell into the English bias trap tonight. Technically the booking of Trossard was right, although he could maybe have got away it but that has led to everyone wanting yellow cards for every foul. Both pen shouts were not quite enough for pens in my opinion and not worth VAR getting involved, which is good to see. In England we'd have spent 5 minutes looking at close up angles.

Enjoyed seeing these PSG away ends a lot recently. They are devastating going forward, if they get goal side of your midfield they look like they will score every time.

Personally think his role last season was over-rated, he did a reasonable job of what Enzo asked of him and was our 'best' option but we'd have been better if we'd upgraded him.

Wages might be lower now but can't see how someone wouldn't take a gamble on his on a free last year but will pay £9m now. He's a really limited footballer but I'd have no complaints if he's still here next season.
