Yeah that’s true. Think the main thing for fans is that we want a guarantee/ at least some communication from the club, that stuff like this will happen in the future. Like others have said previously- the club seem very opposed to fan led statues, but won’t do anything themselves on behalf of the fans either. Personally i just want something from the club to say they are willing taking fan ideas into consideration in the future to make our stadium less bland and instead more personal to our history. The stadium expansion i’m all here for- but nowhere within the plans state anything that 100% acknowledges our history.

Sounds like he’s on borrowed time. Shame really- he’s just not the guy they need in this situation. How he got the job in the first place is beyond me.

Think you’ve summed it up pretty much. Like i’m not necessarily all for statues for every player that’s played for our club- and i understand that putting up statues is a lengthy process. But even something like replacing a few of the blue panels on the outside of the stadium, and replacing them with some pictures of past achievements (like you said pre KP, not just 2010 onwards). For example a bit like the photos they have just before KO on the countdown. Again i’m aware that banners outside is probably an outdated idea, and that after the stadium expansion they probably will all be removed anyways. But i think the main thing for people on here, is that our stadium and the surroundings currently are so bland and lack any identity to our history.

Yeah i thought the same. Although currently we have the same adidas training kit as Fulham (again i don’t know if us moving up their customer ladder as anything to do with training kit or not)

What can we all do to get these points across to the club? In my opinion emails do very little unless it’s constant & from loads of people- plus all we get back is an open ended reply that answers nothing and leaves us asking more questions. I’m open to anything- but like others have said we need a good amount of people involved. Like everyone on here, i’m just not enjoying anything about the match day experience currently- and that’s been that way for far too long. We need change.
