I don't think he is dismissing it - He seems to be confused by it You're right though in that it can be used to spur the players on but there is absolutely no sign of that whatsoever at the moment. They don't pay the money - To have a meaningful impact I assume he'd need to go for £30m + - anything less and its really not worth it and will be a totally false economy. I would keep KDH and move heaven and earth to get rid of Daka, Faes, Ward, Iversen, Thomas, Soumare, Kristensen etc (some you'd want to get their market value - others just get rid).

I'm coming round quite sharpish based on * He seems really up for the job - Unlike TCR - and he's giving off a lot of enthusiasm and energy * He really is in to youth development and I think he may have come in at a very good time for some of the younger players coming through * I get the impression that he's going to be pragmatic which would be a refreshing change * I'm struggling not to really like the bloke I'm definitely going to give him a big go and it'd be great to have a good natured chant for him for the 1st game - possibly Stevie Cooper is a Blue

I'm thinking he's the perfect player to give a totally new start to and see how he shapes up. He's had TCR and Meresca who clearly didn't rate him - I'm sure Cooper will want to see all of the players at his disposal and he may well fit in well to an orthodox back 4.
