  1. Cover was excellent. I don’t think he was hooked for anything he did wrong. Think Enzo planned to have a bit more experience on in the 2nd half. It’s hard to tell with 1 half, but he’s someone to get excited about.
  2. And for him to learn how to use his right foot. Then we could sell for 50 million,
  3. I think he's just a bit of a miserable c**t.
  4. Its odd to me, because leading to this a huge number of posters have been exceptionally critical of KDH - and i see this at the matches as well. If you loved him so much, and think he is this essential, then show him that more. When we works his bollocks off and you then groan when each pass isn't inch perfect, or you empty out of the stadium after the game and don't show him any appreciation, then you imagine that's got to grate. And also, so many criticise the club for not selling academy players at the right time (in respect of the income they can bring into the club). If we get 30 mil for KDH, imho thats a decent valuation. Of course, down in the 15-20 millions isn't great.
  5. I presume Sensi isn't the replacement to KDH, but instead someone who can slot into a role in the is system. Fatawu and Mavadidi bring great energy and physicality and will get better the more they play. We would arguably be better if KDH could consistently get the ball out to them quickly rather than slowing down play as he get the ball on the foot he can actually kick with. And don't get me started in set pieces. But yes, Sensi won't be there for his physicality for sure.
  6. But he isn't really, is he. He has some top of the championship stats which he wouldn't be getting if he didn't have the players around him. Energy is brilliant, but technically he's not a great player.
  7. I really don't know why, and i said before, this doesn't feel out of the blue for me. I was expecting it. It's out of the blue in terms of the news hitting the socials but that really shouldn't be seen as unusual. KDH was one of those linked with PL clubs after we were relegated and he sits in that pure profit situation. I've spent a lot of this season thinking we needed a different player in his position, because he's not great with the ball. If there is an incoming planned, im fine with this in our current position.
  8. i HAD to click the play button. I was still dissapointed.
  9. They are in Europe now, and they haven't been ripping it up this season in PL. They sit 7th just ahead of incredibly poor performing Man U, Chelsea and Newcastle who could all get their sh1t together 2nd half of the season. Unless they kick on, they could be finishing 10th. For Brighton to kick on, they have to move on from the model and buy some experience. I think KDH will be seen as cheaper end of someone with Europa experience who offers some leadership as well. The Brighton model had will become difficult to maintain if they want to consistently challenge for, and compete in Europe.
  10. Makes lots of sense. We need the money, and a club is willing to pay for KDH. No club is remotely interested in Praet, so he sees out his contract. If we could get 20 mil for Praet, they would have sold him 3 weeks ago.
  11. Well yes, but every person who follows football must we wondering wtf Spurs a doing talking £80 mil for Gallagher. Are they mental?
  12. Only when Madders is sending him selfies . But you are right, he's always had that face on. Pretty sure the clubs have a big say in their Instagram. He's a local Leicester fan, no reason not to be pro the club. But that doesn't mean your head might not get turned when a 'better' opportunity comes along.
  13. Even the ones who say he is shit and overrated every week?
  14. Well, depends. Again, all any of us can do is add 1 + 1 and make 3, but how about: Player isn't happy (i think hes looked pi55ed off for a while). Maybe there has been a nibble and the club thinks now is a good time to do it if a certain price is met (presuming they have something else lined up if this goes through). The market is changing. Little is happening this transfer window. If this trend continues (and if FFP constraint everywhere get tougher) then maybe the max value we can get in the summer is predicted to be less than one of those nibbles now. KDH is pure profit. The club could be looking at our points position, looking at Akgun and Sensi (and maybe another), looking at Alves/Braybrook, and thinking the risk/reward favours cashing in. The danger is the club feks this up, the players head is turned, and we panic and sell him for £15mil. Football often makes no sense, but what we do know is that the future of this club is selling players from the academy. Now might be a better time than in the summer.
  15. We dont get to spend all the money on the sales we made. They are used to cover the horrific operating losses we have, which were made far worse by ending up in the hellhole that's the Championship.
  16. I thought it was odd he didn't warm up against Huddersfield and he looked miserable as f**k after the Millwall game. His interview after the Cov game, although he's a fan, felt strange to me. Since huddersfield though, i felt something was up which is when i posted that i wondered if something like this would happen. All hearsay nonsense. Im just reading too much into it. He's always looked a bit miserable.
  17. He’s not.
  18. You miss the point. It won’t be done for football reasons. And look at how Mardy KDH has been lately. If his head has been turned we even lose a strong negotiating position.
  19. If someone is willing to pay 30 mill we will.
  20. Maresca has done a sterling job of managing the players, and he has improved KDH. But that doesn't this from happening, when it seems likely its just got to happen. We have been screwed by FFP. It screwed us to relegation and this is the first major bump in the road since that. I thought everything ran a little too smoothly after we were relegated.
  21. We need the money. Not for players - but for all the other boring stuff.
  22. When we started spending we had Barnes, Castagne on the books and had just got rid of Madders. I am pretty sure they also thought we would sell Daka (so did i to be fair) and likely Soumare. But there were potential sales pretty highly guranteed. But now, we have run out of options. KDH is the last of the regarded players.
  23. Exactly this. The amount of times people pile in and say he's not good enough. Its happens consistently. Now all of a sudden, he's irreplaceable. To some degree, i think a number of us have taken leave of our senses. I appreciate the energy, but KDH doesn't define this system. The wingers bring the energy and we actually need more technical players in the middle. KDH isn't good enough for us to be commanding 40mil + fees. He's not going to feature for England, and post PL teams (outside the dross in the bottom 3) have midfielders that will get picked over him.
  24. Akgun
  25. I'm oddly comfortable. Pure profit from the academy and if stays with us next season is never going to get a top tier fee, as he will get exposed again. His energy is his main asset, but he falls short on the ball and being horribly one footed always slows down attacks. A while ago I said that i felt the wingers brought in the energy, and i would sooner have someone more technical and creative in the middle. I stand by that. The issue is getting that someone in. Maybe they feel Akugun could cover this position with Sensi. I just thought i would be more worried than i am. Who will people whinge about in the matchday thread. I thought the majority of fans thought he was overrated anyway.
